We strongly encourage you to make your Open Table reservations and we are happy to be able to take care of all of our valuable guests, again. We are Alberta's largest and most beautiful steak house. The Sawmill Prime Rib and Steakhouse stretches over 20,000 square feet with a seating capacity of over 700 dining room, lounge, banquet room, and patio combined.
This location has built its reputation on the Sawmill formula. Serving over half a dozen different cuts and sizes of Alberta beef one cannot go wrong ordering any one style. The Sawmill Prime Rib and Steakhouse has become known for many unique qualities and is open daily at 1130am except Sundays when we open at 3pm.

Private dining rooms, banquet rooms, 40-foot ceilings, outside patio bar and grill, Tom Goodchild's Moose Factory will have a place for you any day of the week. Come to experience the ambiance and enjoy the entertainment.

    Our waiter Sal was incredibly attentive and made sure we were well take. Care of throughout the night. The dining room was at a respectable noise level all night and was not too busy at any point of our meal.

    Prime rib was just ok (the former Capilano location served much better prime rib). Sawmill South definitely needs a refresh ... seats were uncomfortable and everything just looks old. Saving grace - waiter was attentive.

    Our two man servers were amazing so on top of everything. They were funny and outgoing and visited our table so much to make sure we had everything. They recommended things and were so good with my two little girls. The food was amazing and so nice and quiet. Made my birthday great the dome dessert was to die for. Beautiful restaurant with the chandeliers and high back chairs as I always go on the mill side if I have no kiddos.

    Service not good, my soup was not served at all and was removed from my bill. One meal was ordered completely plain with sauce on the side. It was served with all kinds of garnish and had to be remade which took far too long. Not impressed.

    Food and service were excellent. We had brunch with our cousins and Sawmill doesn't disappoint in terms of food quality. Our server (Steve) was very attentive.

    Did not measure up to the Sawmill of old. Small portion sizes, button mushrooms tasted like that were from a can. Overrated for the price. Service was amazing!

    3 of us enjoyed the brunch buffet on Oct 27th. The buffet had a very good selection of various food including beef carvery, a good selection of side dishes including scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, potatoes, fresh fruit and pastry
