   We were surprised to have a disappointing experience at Sandyford House, our go-to for nice family meals. The chicken burger was dry and underseasoned. I could not eat it, and brought it to the attention of the staff, who apologised and, strangely, removed a dessert from the bill instead of the burger itself. One member of our party did not get cutlery with their dessert, and since staff were nowhere to be seen, I had to pop into the kitchen to get one. Cutlery was dirty, so I had to go back to the kitchen to get another set. On the up side, the pints were good, and the chips were sublime. I still wish the burger had been edible, though.

   We were greated and brought to our table in a timely fashion. The staff all seemed attentive. Food was fine. I had the roast but may have been a bad choice in my part. Mozzarella salad was delicious. Would go back and try something different and menu seemed nice.

   Food was amazing, been here a few times. It's a little bit further away than places I'd usually go and not direct public transport but there's a carpark round the back and I don't have a problem with spending money on a taxi if I need to. (The Luas isn't a million miles away and there is a bus that passes by).

   Had a really good strip loin couple of weeks back there, felt safe to order the same again, this time I’m sure I got served rib eye and my guest had same opinion on his steak, it was a good steak too though but not what was ordered or charged for, luck of the draw I guess

   We had the most delicious meal, one of the nicest steaks I've ever had. My husband had the fish and chips, my daughter the kids spaghetti bolognese and my son had a pizza which he said was one of the best he's ever had. Great value for the quality of food and the waiting staff were so friendly and attentive. 10/10 all round, 100% would go back 👌👌👌

   Simply wonderful food. I'm a chef 20 years myself . This is my family and i's go to place especially for a Sunday roast . I'd recommend the beef ... greeted at the door by Sara who loves her job and she really looks after you.. the staff itself are absolutely wonderful attentive but not over the top.. thanks to everyone in sandyford house.     It is a your standard Irish bar restaurant, however I think it is much better than other bars I have been to. The staff greeted us with a smile. We were given a nice table. There was music playing but it was not too loud so we could hear each other. There was a nice atmosphere and there was no roudy punters screaming and cheering at the football l, even though it was on the TV’s. We both the food was delicious, I had the sirloin steak. It was cooked to perfection and was one of the best sirloin steaks I have ever had. The plates were hot, which is important to me and my wife. Like every where in Dublin the steak wasn’t cheap at €33. But I didn’t feel ripped off because it was a great piece of meat and cooked exactly how I like it. The waitress was friendly and efficient and I didn’t feel like I she was hovering around. We were left to eat in peace and when we wanted something she seemed to appear. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening
