   The Jazz evening is a great success and the food and service are good. The selection of beers is rather limited and they never seem to have lemon or lime for the Gin and Tonics ! Friendly staff and good atmosphere

   We had bad service without a smile and food was poor quality. We ordered the fish & chips, the chips were of terrible quality, over cooked and I didn’t eat them. I don’t like to complain at the restaurant as this spoils my day. Also they got the drinks wrong. And when we asked for ketchup the staff rudely pointed us in the direction of the restaurant that the ketchup was. I will never go back there.

   Great food, good prices being linked to Adventure Island wristbands but service was extremely slow.. 45 mins wait for food!

   The staff were amazing, extremely helpful and friendly, lovely afternoon tea, great view of the sea, would definitely visit again.

   Lovely afternoon tea. Beautiful views, lovely food, warm scones just out of the oven, fresh cream, what’s not to like! Endless drinks too. Would definitely buy afternoon tea voucher for a present after such an enjoyable experience. Staff very friendly and service great too.

   Not type restaurant I used a few years ago. Took a friend wh had never been. I was mortified how the place was so awful.

   The Staff are friendly and helpful although bar service is sometimes a little slow. My only complaint is the poor choice of beers - lager and nothing else. Some bottled craft ales would be a great addition.

    This is not the first time we have had afternoon tea .. I think we have had 5 this year .. it’s the best afternoon tea in Southend .. the food is excellent and the service is fantastic, You can just sit and enjoy your tea while looking out of the window at the sea xx
