   The sushi was really good, service was also great and prices were very good. I really hope they can sustain this quality, it is rare to eat sushi here in the desert and not have to worry about quality and taste.

   Like the concept and the space was comfy and welcoming. Staff were friendly. "Happy Hour" menu is deceptive. Maybe better branded as a "light" or "smaller plate" menu as the portions were half of the regular menu for the same items... but more than half the price.

   Sushi was really good. I got the wagu and hot stone as well. Wouldn’t get this again as there is very little meat.

   I was incredibly pleased with my experience at Sandfish Sushi and Whiskey. The food was delicious and atmosphere was elevated yet cozy. Highly recommend!

   Excellent sushi but even more incredible are the cocktails. Josh, the mixologist in charge, makes an incredible array and some of the best cocktails we have ever drank. And if you prefer you liquor straight, they have a massive whiskey selection. Highly recommend Sandfish. Will return soon!

   Love Sandfish! The ambience is perfect and intimate and I really love the music they play as well. Each dish is well curated and it’s definitely more of an “if you know you know” type of spot. Miso - 9/10 - it is 9 dollars for miso, but it’s much heartier and larger than your typical sushi place, worth it. Beef Gyoza - 7/10 - They’re good, but not a must order. Presentation is nice but also can be a little soggy. I also prefer pan fried gyoza so the option to do so would be nice. NY Strip Stone - 9/10 - Soooo tasty, and the fries are actually really solid for a sushi place. The dipping sauces each brought a new flavor profile to the mix and the beef is clearly quality. The stone is also pretty fun everyone just turns their head to see what smells so good. Worth the price but wish there was a little more meat. Sandfish roll - 9/10 - worth the specialty roll price as the truffle flavor is a great enhancer of the roll rather than overpowering it. Have gotten it twice now and really recommend it. Tuna tartare cones - 4/10 - least favourite I’ve tried. The cone was weird and had a bit of a sweet flavor to it that I’d prefer not to have again. Would much rather take a normal hand roll with spicy tuna than this. Ube cake roll - 8/10 - absolutely delicious and not your typical sushi spot dessert. Also so tiny I could realistically eat it in 3 bites by myself. Not a sharing portion. Piña Colada - 10/10 - if you like taro and well balanced drinks you’ll love this. Not too sweet, not too strong. The bartenders here are incredible and every drink I’ve had I’ve loved.
