Located on the sixth floor of The Mayson Hotel is Ryleigh’s Rooftop Restaurant, with outdoor terrace. Take in the panoramic vista of the Dublin Mountains, the River Liffey, the city centre and even as far as Dun Laoghaire on a clear day! Comfy leather clad booths line the windows. An open kitchen and grill adds a sense of theatre to the room. Floor to ceiling windows make the most of the views and the only walls in the room are clad in beautiful veined marble. Ryleigh’s serves breakfast, lunch, Brunch (Saturdays, Sundays and Bank holidays) and dinner. Ideal spot to grab a bite with family and friends. The dinner menu features tasty options such as Sizzling Prawns and Beef Tartare to start. A selection of Irish steaks for main (Striploin, Delmonico, Centre Cut Fillet, Tomahawk Ribeye for two, and John Stone's T-Bone for two) cooked over our charcoal grill, Pan-Seared Monkfish and delicious desserts such as Raspberry & white chocolate cheesecake and Sticky Toffee Pudding.

                            Überbewertet und sehr laut. Es tropfte von der Decke, wir wurden direkt unter einen Lautsprecher mit schlechter Musik gesetzt. Die Menükarte der Website sollte plötzlich nur ab 10 Personen sein. Das Essen selbst hat geschmeckt, aber wir würden nicht wieder hingehen.

                            Ganz tolles Ambiente und das Essen war sehr gut. Auch das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und jedem Tisch eine Servicekraft zugeteilt.

                            I recently visited Rayleigh Rooftop Bar to celebrate a special occasion with my partner, but unfortunately, the experience left us deeply disappointed. While the venue itself is stunning, with a gorgeous ambiance and incredible views, our evening was overshadowed by a major mishap. After ordering drinks, the bartender accidentally spilled an entire glass of cocktail all over my girlfriend, including on her jacket, which has a fur trim. While accidents happen, what was particularly frustrating was the way it was handled. They offered not to charge us for the two drinks—one of which was the one spilled—but that felt insufficient given the situation. The alcohol completely soaked her jacket, and we had to pay for dry cleaning to restore the fur trim to its original condition. My partner was understandably upset, and the discomfort ruined the night for both of us. For a place that prides itself on delivering a high-end experience, I believe they could have done far more to make up for the situation—perhaps offering a complimentary meal or covering the dry-cleaning costs. Sadly, the lackluster response left us feeling undervalued as guests, and it’s unlikely we’ll return, which is unfortunate because the restaurant itself is beautiful. I hope Rayleigh can improve its customer service to ensure other patrons don’t have their evenings similarly ruined.

                            I booked this restaurant after seeing recommendations online. Myself and my friends were blown away by the food, service and the entire experience. So much so I booked a flight back to Ireland two weeks later to enjoy the experience again. Firstly, the service is outstanding, especially compared to restaurants at home. All of the service staff go out of their way to welcome you and make you feel so at home. No request is a problem, they truly go out of their way to provide you the best experience possible. They have excellent knowledge on the menu: both drinks and food. You notice the closeness of the team as they work together so well and communicate, especially when a waiter/waitress is busy with another table. We wished we could have given a bigger tip. Secondly, the food is outstanding. There’s not much more to say other than book this restaurant if you want an amazing meal. Timing is perfect, not too quick and not too long of a wait between courses. The food itself is cooked to perfection in how you request. I don’t eat red meat but my friends and partner believe the steak from this restaurant is the best they’ve ever eaten. I’ve had the chicken supreme twice and could truly eat it everyday for the rest of my life. Thankyou to the chefs. Finally, the overall experience is truly special. The view if you have a window table is beautiful. However, if you don’t have a window table the experience is still just as good. The open kitchen is probably the best part and the music is perfect for the vibe of the restaurant itself. Not too loud and not too quiet. Even the toilets get a 10/10 from me. Thankyou, can’t wait to be back.
