    Waitress was FABULOUS!! Enjoyed sitting in the outdoor area (doors were down obviously). Disappointed in the fried fish-- felt like it was a carry in from McD's or Wendy's-used to love it but probably won't order it again. I appreciated that they had extra staff to work so tables were well serviced. We will be back-just won't order the fish.

    I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Rust Bucket in Dublin was so dismal that I feel obligated to share. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that customer comfort takes a backseat to squeezing in as many tables as possible. The seating was downright claustrophobic. Tables were crammed so tightly together that I couldn’t get out of our booth without bumping into the people seated in front of us. To make matters worse, anyone passing by had to awkwardly sidestep between our booth and the adjacent table, often uncomfortably close—think “crotches in your face” close. It was unpleasant, to say the least. Privacy was nonexistent, and the noise level was so loud that enjoying the meal—or even having a conversation—was impossible. Speaking of the meal, the wait time was beyond frustrating. After being seated, it took an agonizing hour and a half to get our food and a check. The bathrooms were the final straw. They were filthy, with overflowing trash bins, grimy toilets (all two of them), and a barely functional changing station placed awkwardly in the doorway. Not only was it unsanitary, but the setup meant anyone walking in—or even sitting at nearby tables—could see you trying to change your infant. It was humiliating and completely unacceptable. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Between the overcrowded seating, excruciatingly long wait times, and the disgusting state of the bathrooms, I wouldn’t recommend Rust Bucket in Dublin to anyone—especially families. Save yourself the headache and dine somewhere else.

    My wife and I stopped for dinner after a long day at the Stephanie Spielman Breast Cancer Center. Our waitress, Julia, was over the top kind and caring. We ordered two 9 oz glasses of Merlot because we had a tough day. Julia sensed that we were struggling and kindly gave us a complimentary desert as a “Picker Upper.” We were so impressed with her kindness and generosity. You’ve got yourself a good one. Thank you Julia for brightening our day. You made a difference.
