At Rosie Cannonball, we’re serving European comfort food in a lively atmosphere. The restaurant celebrates the origins of cooking through open, live fire and is centered around a wood-burning oven and grill.

The menu draws inspiration from individual ingredients: local vegetables, pastas and pizzas, simple seafood and locally-sourced meat cooked over live fire.

Master Sommelier June Rodil curated an expansive list of delicious wines with a strong Italian, Spanish and French focus from their favorite producers new and old, along with options from progressive New World producers.

The cocktail menu has strong Italian influences, mirroring the focus of the food.

I unfortunately had a terrible dining experience at Rosie Cannonball. The service was beyond poor, so much so that I can confidently say I will not return after being a loyal diner at this restaurant for many years. To start, our waitress did not greet us for 20 minutes after being seated. Our first round of cocktails took an additional 30 minutes to be served, after our appetizers had already arrived. To be of note, our waitress informed one of our diners that the spirit she requested in her drink was out of stock, 25 minutes after we ordered. Additionally, one of the entrees that we ordered was not available. Our cocktail glasses sat empty for a long time, even after the waitress had come around to our table. There was a complete lack of attentiveness to our table. Our second round of drinks (wine) arrived after we had all nearly finished our entrees. They were ordered before our entrees had arrived at the table. Finally, our bill still reflected the drink that was out of stock in addition to being billed extra for the spirit that was recommended as a substitution. Management walked past our table frequently, never checking in on us, greeting us, or being of service in any capacity. Our one waitress was the only staff member to ever offer assistance to our table, albeit infrequently. The entire staff seemed unfriendly and untrained in basic professionalism and hospitality. It’s quite unfortunate as our meal was delicious, but was overall ruined by such distinguishably poor service. I will not be returning to Rosie Cannonball after this experience.

Start to finish everything was incredible. We had the classics and also branched out to new items. The beet dish was the hit of the night! The spaghetti al limone was perfection.

The blistered beans were one of the most favorable dishes I have ever had. Everything was delightful!!

Food and cocktails are always great here. Unfortunately, they ran out of pizza but for good reason as they had been rewarded with the Bib Gourmand award. Still an amazing dinner.

We have been to Rosie many times. This was a subpar experience. The AC was out, so it was warm and muggy. Music was obnoxiously loud, so we had to move tables. The food was terrific, as always. Service was slow and halting - not like usual. I would have expected maybe a complimentary drink or something for the heat. And certainly more attentive service.

Enjoyed overall experience. The Lambrusco tasting at beginning of meal was a nice touch. The appetizers - olives, little gem lettuces were tasty. Star of the show- pizza. So good I forgot to take a photo. Pepperoni added fennel sausage. The crust was so tasty ( crispy, yet soft inside)
