I feel like the restaurant should be more clear with there rules because there is no way food should be done after 8

One of my favorite summer time go-to spots. Beautiful rooftop with great view and great drinks.

Please take photo ID with your birthdate otherwise you will not get in. When we finally got through , we were directed by the hostess to 2 uncomfortable bar stools at a wooden bench running along a wall which was advertised as some kind of flower garden. However a few fake flowers and some fake grass wouldn’t count as a flower wall. Also we booked for sunset time as it was advertised as being great for sunset views . The roof on which the bar was located was surrounded by taller buildings on all sides. Definitely false advertising!! The girl who was to be our server offered us to sit at 2 more comfortable chairs surrounded by lovely plants with which we were delighted with. However about 15 mins later the hostess very rudely told us we had been assigned other seats and queried why were we sitting there ? My partner told her our server had kindly offered us the seats . She grudgingly let us stay in the chairs because of this , otherwise I fear we would have been promptly marched back to the stools or out the front door . Our server’s attitude after this went sour to say the least . We stayed for another drink while we tried to book a table for dinner elsewhere. The food menu wasn’t appealing and even if it was the attitude was making us feel unwelcome. The cocktails we had were good and served promptly if without a smile. We left a generous tip with our server when paying the bill and she snarled at us in lieu of a thank you or good bye. I will say a male server approached us as we were about to leave and asked if we would like to order another drink . If only he had served us from the beginning it might have been a whole different experience . Welcome to New York , service with a scowl !!

Great food and drinks with a beautiful view of the city. Large rooftop so easy to get a table but recommend a reservation on a nice night

I called before to make sure kids were allowed, they said yes until 8pm. When I got there the people down stairs were very professional and allowed me inside after seeing I had a reservation at 7pm. When I got upstairs a female host said hey you can’t come in with a child. I told her I called before to make sure, the male host told her they allow kids until 8. She questioned him “are you sure”. I’m not sure why she didn’t want me there. Thank you to the host who saved the day I wish I knew his name. The food was 3/5. Small portions, not shareable. The tacos and sliders were good, the flatbread not a fan of. The servers weee 2/5. Rude and definitely bias. Overall, would not return unless I go to sit at the bar. View is not impressive. Understandable because it’s only a 10 floor. Either way thanks to the host and the bouncer.
