    We dined with family and friends for Thanksgiving dinner at Roanoke. We could not have been happier. The set menu still allowed diners to individually select drinks, appetizers, sides, the main dish (turkey and trimmings, salmon, steak), and dessert. Everything was delicious and well-seasoned. The wait staff was attentive. It was a packed house (because who cooks anymore?). We even ordered an extra plate to go (because leftovers are a must!). If Roanoke offers Thanksgiving dinner again, we will book it again!

    Food was mediocre at best! Waited well over an hour for my food. My children grew really anxious and impatient. There were no available high chairs. I couldn't begin to explain how bland and tasteless the food was the only thing that was ok was the salad and fried chicken. I had to change servers because my first one was inattentive and lacked knowledge of the menu. I don't think he even put in my food due to the amount of waiting I had to endure. My second waitress went above and beyond to make things right but it still didn't make up for the awful food.

    Amazing experience for Thanksgiving dinner! The food and service were excellent, and they had a variety of reservation times. My mother and I had a fantastic night and would definitely return!

    Three of us went to Roanoke for Thanksgiving, the second time I've been there. Downstair is more casual - and lively - but we sat in the more formal and quiet upstairs space, which was pretty empty (it was packed when I had lunch on a weekday a couple weeks ago. The turkey, dressing, Brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce and apple caramel pie were delicious and the service was great.

    Definitely on our heavy rotation list when downtown. Food quality is generally excellent, prices reasonable, service very good.

    Food was just ok. Nothing really impressive. Quite expensive for not being impressed. Service was great, but I wasn’t impressed enough to come back.

    Had dinner here after a matinee at the Lyric and had steak frites. Great choice as the steak was cooked as ordered and the frites were excellent. However, on the menu it said Au poivre but there wasn’t much pepper on the steak or the sauce as I expected. Friendly staff and cozy decor make the place a good option for dining.
