Meticulously restored in Ireland and shipped to the US, Ri Ra embodies everything that you would expect from a genuine Irish Pub. Ri Ra comes from the phrase "Ri Ra agus Ruaile Buaile," a phrase translating roughly as divilment, good fun or any sociable activity that improves with fine food, a nice pint of Guinness or dram of Uisce Beatha (whiskey). Great food and service was exceptional. Live music was unnecessary this early in the evening. And way too loud when trying to talk to friends

We are four middle aged women and we just wanted somewhere to go have a drink and something to eat and chat. Our waitress was adorable. Can’t remember her name, but she is Irish and did a fantastic job. We were tucked away in the corner kind of away from the bar crowd and that was perfect. We hadn’t gone out in years, but we will be coming back again soon.

Nice Irish pub with good food and great beer 🍻 Very attentive service and you will love the ambiance. Even though the bar was busy before the Hornets game our service was great. Good apps and very filling pub fare. Really enjoyed our visit.

Made reservations for my son's 19th birthday. He had loved a pub we had been to in England and was hoping for similar vibe knowing there would be variance due to authentic verses commercialized. In reservations there was a request asking if it was for any special occasion so we indicated and thought if they wanted to know they must do something special. Placement? Slice of cake? Irish birthday song?But not. Why then ask? Server seemed a little green. Huge group at bar that yelled when they spoke. I understand it is a bar. But our placement could have avoided this....since we did indicate it was a special occasion. All in all wouldn't go back for any special occasion. It is based on a bar and I would only recommend it as so.

First time eating at Ri Ra. Nice ambiance. Relatively quiet compared to a lot of restaurants as we asked for a quiet table. Great service. Delicious food. Really enjoyed our visit.

Good overall, friendly service from Michael from missing items in the food (Pot pie soup and chocolate mousse) and drink section (no ingredient to make Mocktails).

We had good time, the musician was very good too and nice interacting with the customer. Our waitress was amazing

Such a disappointing experience! The food was definitely subpar. Our drinks were never refilled until we were done with our food at which point we were ready to leave anyway. Such a shame that there wasn’t even Irish music playing… Missed opportunity there for ambience went to use the salt on our table and it was so hard that it didn’t even move in the shaker

This was a great spot near Belk Theater. Very convenient spot to lots of places uptown. Food was delicious and timing perfect. Our waiter was very on point. Atmosphere was my favorite.
