   View is excellent. We walked the short distance from the Westin. Food and service were good. We even ordered pizza to go a couple days later.

   I'm very loyal to the service in the Dominican Republic (it's not the best in the world by and large), but the service in this place is just terrible. They couldn't come to take my order for 40 minutes, they couldn't find a free sunbed, and the staff simply passed by or referred me to another person for all my requests for help. The place is very beautiful and the food is delicious, but because of the service, I'm unlikely to return there again.

   Playa Blanca is a fantastic beach! super clean, with plenty of seating options both on the sand and off. It’s clear they’ve put effort into making it comfortable for everyone. The staff are genuinely lovely, friendly, and helpful, without being overly pushy, and always easy to get hold of, which is honestly such a refreshing experience in the Dominican Republic. Big thumbs up for that! That said, there were a couple of things that put me off. First, the $50 minimum spend per person was a bit of a shock, especially since you have to pay it upfront as a deposit before even entering. But after looking at the menu prices, I realised it’s not hard to hit the minimum. Speaking of the menu, I wasn’t a fan of the American-style pricing where they don’t include taxes. As a non american, I already find this annoying in the US, but at least there, the tax maxes out around 9%. In the Dominican Republic, it’s a hefty 28%, which makes excluding taxes from the menu prices feel misleading – almost like taxes are optional, which they obviously aren’t! I noticed that more places have this approach in the D.R.. All in all, Playa Blanca is a great spot, but it comes at a cost. It feels more like you’re paying Nikki Beach prices for a regular, everyday beach hangout with No DJ. If you’re okay with splurging, it’s definitely worth a visit, but be prepared for the high prices and a bit of sticker shock.

   Me gusta mucho Playa Blanca, pero pasamos un momento muy incómodo con el encargado, es una persona con poca atención al cliente, nos dejaron esperando más de dos horas y estábamos en fila esperando. Y solo nos miraba u ponía a otros delante y les daba las mesas a los que habían llegado de último. Luego un camarero que nisiquiera trabaja ahí, solo estaba como eventual, nos ayudó a encontrar una mesa, y nos puso un camarero. El si fue muy amable. Pero considero que deberían analizar a ese encargado. No es bueno, no está capacitado.

   I love that beach in fact is my favorite one in Punta Cana . The waitress are so kindness,gastronomy exquisite definitely is a place you have to visit every time .

   2 hours to get a lemonade and 3 hours until we received our lunch. No apologies just pure rude

   The food was delicious and the service was great. The waiters were knowledgeable and cordial. The only complaint I have is that the waiter understood the importance of serving me a gluten free meal, but the communication within the kitchen failed or the chef did not fully understand the meaning of a gluten free meal. As a result I was rushed to the hospital bc if my body’s reaction to gluten contamination. It’s a great restaurant for people who do not have special dietary needs.
