   We had a group of 8 adults and 4 college age students. The food was excellent. Most of us did the tasting menu which included a mahi course that was amazing. Some ordered the Birria tacos and thought they were wonderful. The reason we did not score it all 5s was that some of our people ordered ala Carte, there was one item not available and they did not inform us at the time of ordering. In addition, there was confusion on a dessert and an alternate was substituted without discussing it. Overall great food, it is an experience, so don’t expect a fast meal.

   The best meal we ate in PV. The food was interesting and delicious. We did the 7 course meal and sorry we didn’t do 9. The wine pairings were perfect. Spent the night before at our favorite Cafe de Artistes and this blew us away with the innovative and delicious cuisine. Highly recommend. Our server, Darwin, was a real pro and made the evening even more special. A great addition to the Puerto Vallarta dining scene.

   Our dinner was exceptional. We had the 5 course tasting menu. The flavors were amazing. The wait staff were very knowledgeable of the history each dish that was served. The presentation of each dish was elegant and beautiful. They were so friendly and professional. ICU will be in our rotation of fine restaurant in Puerto Vallarta.

    My husband and I greatly enjoyed the 7 course tasting menu at ICÚ. I also had the wine pairing which was expertly chosen and featured excellent Mexican wines, except for a very nice Spanish Cava to start. We were warmly greeted by the host and service was outstanding throughout the evening, friendly yet professional. The decor is stunning. The cuisine is modern and elevated yet still distinctly Mexican. Every course was delicious and we especially appreciated the vegetables since they’re often overlooked on tasting menus. For us the standout dish was the Mahi-Mahi though it’s hard to pick just one favorite. Very highly recommended!
