   What a wonderful experience! Everything we ate, from the divine corn and squash blossom soup, to the miniature braised short rib tacos, to the incredible elote tamale, was exquisite. They offered us a scrumptious complimentary amuse bouche of chicken mole on chicharrones, a basket of incredible little cheese breads, and the most gracious, warm service. We want to go back and try everything, as the party of six next to us was doing, with very evident delight. One of the best dining experiences ever.

   I had the seabass and it was excellent. My wife tried the grilled octopus. It was undercooked so we sent it back. As a result of her first bite, she had some stomach problems the next morning The squash soup was great and we shared a cream brûlée for dessert. Would certainly come back.

   Fabulous experience. Johnny our waiter made our experience even more wonderful! The food was exceptional and the decor was amazing. A must if you’re visiting Oaxaca!! 5 stars!!

   Delicious meal and wonderful staff. Had a reservation on Valentines Day with friends while visiting Oaxaca. Our table was ready on time. We ended up eating here twice

   This was the best meal we had in Oaxaca. The location on a terrace open to the sky was beautiful and the food was all delicious. We had one order of mini tacos to start which was just enough to whet our appetites and then followed on with roast suckling pig. At our server's suggestion we had one order which again was perfect for the two of us and had the bonus of leaving room for dessert. The suckling pig, served with hot tortillas and a side of mole, were accompanied by the most delicious mashed potatoes ever. We finished with a special Oaxacan dessert including corn cakes, whipped cream, caramel and mezcal foam - amazing! And then there were the drinks and wine - both excellent, especially the wine. Our server recommended one from Chihuahua that was perfect with the food. And then there was our server, Omar. Wow! Just WOW! Friendly, warm, helpful, with good English. He gave excellent advice and kept an eye on us throughout. After we'd talked about moles, he brought us a side of black mole to try with our suckling pig tacos to compare to the mole type served with them. All in all, it was a delightful evening.

    Incredible dining experience! We had a wonderful time, our server Jonni and the entire team were professional and attentive. Our dinner was amazing, each dish delicious, fresh and flavorful. The cocktails were the outstanding and creative. This was our favorite and most memorable meal in Oaxaca. Thank you Restaurante Catedral!
