Dining at RED O is an experience like no other that offers a unique combination of Prime Steak and Seafood with Rick Bayless’ signature Mexican inspired influences. With sustainably sourced and local ingredients, RED O creates flavorful dishes true to the authentic flavors of Mexico. RED O’s team of friendly employees creates a welcoming atmosphere that parallels the luxury resort interior of the restaurant. RED O also features an impressive bar and lounge where you’ll find specialty cocktails, an extensive tequila list and an award winning wine list. The bar also offers Happy Hour from 3-6 p.m. daily and Late Night Happy Hour from 9-11pm Friday-Saturday.

    Reservations for 4 and we arrived and were told by hostess they were "running behind" despite the fact we saw a few open tables we went inti the bar and waited. 20 minutes later we are seated at EXACTLY same table we saw when we checked in- and when asked why hostess replied that table needed to be wiped first? Yeah right, that takes 30 seconds. Server was slow and took food order after now more than an hour waiting. He rarely checked back, and when our Birthday party asked about dessert he didnt know we were a birthday party despite reservations saying this clearly. Poor service and non-existent management made for a 1-star ruined celebration.

    It was nice that we got to find a reservation on the same day however, the food was not so good unfortunately and I felt that it was overpriced for how it tasted.

    Mike once again provided excellent service. The food was delicious. We had the Filet Mignon and NY steak entrees with the chipotle crema option. We shared the chocolate lava cake for dessert.

    If you go... ask to be seated in Kevin's area! He was our server and he was amazing!! Best experience I've had at a restaurant in a while! The ambience was nice and the service felt so personal!! Highly recommend this place and Kevin!

    Red O had a Mariscos Chili Relleno several years ago but discontinued it. We visited Red O last Sunday for our 45th wedding anniversary. We asked about this dish and was told they did have it again but only on Fridays and Saturdays. Based on this information, I booked a reservation on Friday. I called around noon on Friday to confirm they would have this dish. I was told they would so I confirmed my reservation. Well, when we ordered, one of the servers (not our waiter) told us they did not have it tonight. He said the chef thought there would not be enough people so they did not make the dish. I talked to the manager and she apologized for the mix up and suggested we order their lobster enchiladas and offered to comp a dessert. We agreed and when the waiter arrived, we ordered the lobster enchiladas. He then told us they no longer have lobster enchiladas. They only have shrimp enchiladas. We settled on ordering it. The shrimp enchiladas had bay shrimp - terrible and extremely disappointing. Definitely not worth $36. The manager did comp our bill $20 but it is unforgivable that they disappointed us 3x in one night. Very disconcerting!
