   I loved all of the sushi the sushi chef was very pleasant and informative. I enjoyed watching how skilled he was with rolling the sushi I do believe it is an art. my only complaint is I was not aware they charge for the water refills and did not let us know when a second bottle was being opened. I would have just ordered some alcohol at that point for just a few more dollars.

   I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. It was our first time trying Rakki, and our first omakase experience. We did the full omakase experience for $128 per person (welcome drink + 15 courses), but they have other omakase experiences that are a bit cheaper. Chef Javier was great & very knowledgeable. Every course, he would explain what each ingredient was, why he prepared the dish as he did, & what flavors we can expect. The party next to us had some dietary restrictions, and Chef Javier was able to accommodate them by making them a different course that catered to their specific needs. The food tasted amazing. The fish was fresh & all the courses that Chef Javier curated were packed with unique flavors that went together well. My favorite bites were the chawanmushi (legitimately one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth. It was so savory!), negitoro handroll, and the king salmon with caviar, but some of the courses are marked as “seasonal,” so they change depending on what ingredients are in season. Our seasonal sashimi course was greater amberjack sashimi with a mountain berry, and our seasonal limited nigiri course consisted of 3 nigiri: A5 wagyu with black truffle shavings, king salmon with caviar, & shrimp with a truffle mayo. The only food item that I think was lacking a bit was the matcha tiramisu. It was still delicious, but next to the other dessert option (mango panna cotta) that was so phenomenal, the matcha tiramisu felt a bit lackluster. My tiramisu was a tad dry, but the sweetness level was perfect. It was not overly sweet, which I like. But, despite loving matcha tiramisu, I preferred the mango panna cotta, which I was pleasantly surprised by! I’m usually not a fan of panna cotta, but this was delicious. It was served in a chilled dish as well, which made it cold and refreshing. Sweet, tangy, light, tart… an absolute home run. The presentation of everything was gorgeous. I’ve had my fair share of sushi across different places, but nothing prepared me for the level of craftsmanship, precision, and sheer artistry that Sushi Master Javier brings to the table. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. But the real magic began when Javier, with the confidence of a true master, started preparing each piece before my eyes. The balance of flavors, the freshness of every ingredient, and the meticulous attention to detail were beyond impressive. The standout of the night was his Omakase selection—a true journey through textures and tastes. The toro nigiri melted like butter, the uni was briny perfection, and the truffle-infused scallop left me speechless. But it wasn’t just about the ingredients; it was about the way Javier orchestrated each bite, elevating sushi to an experience rather than just a meal. Beyond his technique, what made this experience even more special was Javier’s deep knowledge and passion for his craft. He explained the origin of each ingredient, the best way to enjoy it, and even recommended perfect sake pairings that enhanced the flavors in unexpected ways. Rakki Sushi isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a destination for those who appreciate the fine art of sushi. And with Sushi Master Javier leading the way, it’s easily one of the best sushi experiences I’ve ever had. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 – A must-visit for sushi lovers.

   The whole staff was amazing and explained every little detail of the dishes. AMAZING experience and every recommendation for their sake offered was amazing. The Chef and Jorge are a master of their craft! Will for sure return!

   The experience was amazing, we had the 13 course Omakase at a very reasonable price. Each sushi was different with their distinctive flavors, all tasting amazing. The cast were all great and attentive, specially Victor who made our experience better.

    Great food, if your not sitting at the counter don't bother dining here. Service is terrible (extremely slow) but food was good even though it was overpriced. After requesting a manager, nobody came just an offer to comp something off the bill. They showed no empathy, even after we had a bill of almost $300 for 2 people. Not willing to return.
