Come enjoy a cocktail in our Tranquilo Lounge on one of our comfy velvet couches with your friends, or grab dinner in our dining room for a date night while watching our chefs create our beautiful dishes in our open concept kitchen. With over 90 Tequila and Mezcals to choose from, you'll have the option to sip on our patio, at one of the two full-service bars, in the Tranquilo Lounge or in the dining room while enjoying scratch-made tacos or ethically raised bone-in ribeye.

Open Friday and Saturday nights with late night snacks from 10-11pm and good vibes till 12am.

The food was OK- not bad but not gourmet - unfortunately my husband’s burrito was cold when it reached our table. The prices are exorbitant for food that’s not nearly as good as the food you will find at Plaza Azteca or another normal Mexican restaurant in Virginia Beach. We had a gift card, fortunately. Also, they require you to use valet parking which adds to the cost of the evening. We do not plan to go back!

We came for a valentines date. The restaurant was busy as expected, service was attentive, valet was a big help our entrees were very aesthetically pleasing. We had the salsa which was a little too much tomato for my palate and seemed a bit on the purée or muddled side. Back to the entrees which were exceptional and flavorful. The waiter made great suggestions for the margarita which was very interesting. We both agreed we would return again.

Second time here had a good time food is good! Our waiter Toni was phenomenal!! We brought a guess and she made the experience that much better for her!!! !!!!

Food and atmosphere were wonderful. Just what we were looking for for a fun girls night. We waited quite a while for a server to great our table but the manager brought over a delicious appetizer for the inconvenience.

Abigail, our server, was so fun and made great recommendations. The guac with beef and a round of margaritas set the bar high. Entrees were v good..esp. the squash enchiladas and short rib burrito. Tres Leches and chocolate brûlée were amazing! Too loud to enjoy the band but overall high energy vibe! Nice to have valet parking as well. Great place to feel like you been somewhere different than a seafood restaurant!

Party of nine celebrating my wife’s Birthday. The waitress made super special. She was in theatre, also a poet which she said a poem for my wife. We couldn’t have asked for a better night at Quemar.
