Q1227 Restaurant is trailblazing a new genre we're calling California Comfort Food. Our entrees are designed from California's freshest ingredients, embodied with bold, succulent flavors. Chef Q embraced his native Florida roots and have created dishes that are wrapped in California's fresh fruit and vegetables. Some house favorites are our Q1227 Chicken Fried Lobster Bites, our Roasted Vegetable Flatbread, our phenomenal Grilled Seafood Platter and finishing the night off with our Bourbon Street Bread Pudding.

New location is not my favorite. Going to a nice dinner at the mall isn't special. Was hoping new location wouldn't be as noisy as old. Not the case , noise level is very high. Food was very good. Restaurant run very well. Service was great and staff worked very hard.

The chef was obviously missing tonight. I’ve eaten here many times, the food was definitely not as good. beef and blue meat totally overdone, short rib Ragu was 10 minutes late after everyone else was served, obviously thrown together, bland and not up to par. The whole food experience?? The chef was not in the building .

We were so impressed. The service here was impeccable from seating to service. The staff were super attentive. They were knowledgeable about the dishes and also the wine list. The food was a delight. Flavorful and made to order. Presentation was also nice. We are definitely going back. Highly recommend!

Janessa was a great server. Food was delicious. Our daughter raved about the lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes. First time in their new location and we will be back for dinner soon!

I recently dined at Q1227, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. Our meals were delicious. The service was impeccable; our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations.

Had the Christmas Eve brunch. Good food and ambiance. Looking forward to trying their weekly brunch when they get it up and going.

This was our second visit to Q. Unfortunately, due to the busy holiday season, our reservation time couldn’t be honored, and we ended up waiting an additional 25 minutes to be seated. While this is usually not an issue, someone in our party has a disability, and the extra wait made things a bit uncomfortable for her. To start, we ordered the bone marrow and artichoke dip, both of which were excellent. For our entrees, we chose the surf and turf, fried chicken, and jambalaya. While the surf and turf and fried chicken were well-received, the jambalaya wasn’t a favorite. The abundance of bell peppers and the texture didn’t quite work for our preferences.

We had a 7:30 reservation, seated at 8PM. Got most of the food 30 mins later, but 1 of the meals took an additional 10mins where most were halfway done eating. 2/4 meals ordered were either very bland or too salty. The desserts and appetizers were good. We tip really well, but were a tiny bit shocked they added automatic tip for our reservation of 4 people. For the money we paid, we should have gone somewhere else, but we’ve been here before with a good experience. We thought for sure we’d be pleased again, but probably won’t be back. Waiting to be seated, waiting for server, waiting for drinks/meal and for mediocre food. Was hoping this staple Roseville restaurant would be more consistent, but maybe with the new mall location brought down the quality.
