   Had a group of 6 eat on a Thursday night with a reservation at 6:45. The fact that we were the only table in the restaurant all evening tells the story. People are not eating here unless they are staying at the attached hotel. It is a beautiful place... but the food was bland, some hot foods were served cold... cold enough to have come directly from a refrigerator. The young men serving really didn't know how to keep drinks filled or ask us if we need anything, etc., they disappeared unless we flagged them down. It still took 2 hours to complete our meal when we were the only ones there. Right as we were leaving, a couple sat at the bar. Maybe that really is what it would be good for. We spent $260 for 6 people with no alcohol, including 2 sandwiches, a salad, and 3 entrees. No go from this foodie.

   Service, food, and drinks were all so great! Also they had a live band that was incredible. Great place!

   Service was awful. One of the people at our table didn’t get the drink he ordered or the food and the waitress never even apologized. Was very slow too. Music was entirely too loud. Food was cold.

   I had heard great things about public service & was looking forward to a nice lunch. We had reservations for 12:15 & everthing that that we tried to order was unavailable. It is Mardi Gras season in NOLA & the restaurant business is very busy this time of year how does a restaurant run out of food!?

   We stayed at Nopsi Hotel during the snow storm. Everyone at public service bar and restaurant were just so hospitable and kind. There were very few places to eat within downtown New Orleans and they were amazing in providing food for so many people. We really appreciate their work.

   Waited almost an for avocado toast. The toast was one small piece of bread. There was nothing on it but avocado and some tomatoes. The server brought me some nasty scrambled eggs to put on top of it. Drinks took a half hour. I usually like this restaurant so not sure what was going on that day, but everything was horrible. At least they comped the food, but drinks should have been comped too.

   Took 25 minutes to get service. It was a saints Sunday so it got a little busy but just to get asked what to drink was poorly orchestrated. Thank goodness our reservation was 3 full hours before the game started and we were still late to the game due to poor service. When finally approached by a waitress we were not greeted in a professional fashion. It was like we were a burden to be there! I certainly will not come back to this restaurant. After a long wait the food was just mediocre.

   The convenience of dining in the hotel was great. There were hits and misses. Ribs and gumbo were a missed opportunity. Seafood pasta, crab cakes, and vegetable flat bread were great! Breakfast was good. Service was too slow for this Los Angeles girl. Also food need to be served quickly- ask the table if they want to be served all at once or as the food is done. Most people prefer hot food over all at once. Breakfast service was too slow for trying to get up and out. Staff was helpful and the service was professional and accommodating. I would stay and eat here again. Need to work out a few kinks.
