Nestled beneath the steep grassy slopes of St Ives “Island”, right on the beach with unbeatable and uninterrupted views across St Ives Bay to Godrevy Lighthouse. Now open all year round for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.

The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The café specialises in Mediterranean and Asian seafood cuisine and is an oasis of taste and visual beauty. The café is open daily for a selection of patisserie and the finest coffee.

A Holiday in St Ives would not be complete without going to the beach. Here at Porthgwidden Beach we have one of the cleanest beaches in the South West. We have been given the prestigious Blue Flag Award which guarantees the highest of standards.

Fantastic location with great views across the St Ives bay to Godrevy Lighthouse. As always our food was delicious and the staff are professional, friendly, and accomodating. A great half-term holiday spot for eating with the kids, and dogs welcome :)

Lovely food, fantastic service. Our 7yr old even ordered a halloumi salad (not v often you see this offered on a kids menu). Lovely wine. And beautiful location

This cafe is turning out phenomenal dishes that truly celebrate the ingredients - even the chips - which are heavenly earthy, piping hot and flavourful. I started with roast sardines with a smattering of finely chopped garlic and I was wondering if the garlic might overpower the natural tangyness of these flawless fish. Not a bit! The balance was perfect and the flavours just sang in the mouth. I loved the starter choices so much that I ordered another for my main which I had with the heavenly chips. Blue cheese and pears with Parma ham. Incredible! Just the right amount of each ingredient. Yes! I scraped the plate. Finally, I finished with apple crumble tart with clotted cream. The pleasantly acidic pool of berries calmed the natural, perfectly pitched sweetness of the apple tart. I would have preferred a small jug of custard but hey, we’re in Cornwall so the clotted cream sat beautifully on top and gave the dish a velvety texture. Staff were warm, friendly and knowledgeable. I had a large bottle of fizzy water and my bill was around £40. The price reflects the quality of ingredients which were top notch.

Haven't been here for a while but this visit was really good. A great welcome, service and food excellent and a superb location. What more can you ask for?
