Toast 2025 at Pizzeria Portofino’s New Year’s Eve party and dance the night away to the beat of the DJ while catching the fireworks on the Chicago River at midnight. General Admission tickets are available with limited seating for $145 per person, plus tax (gratuity not included), and include passed appetizers, assorted pizzas and unlimited signature cocktails. I loved the food. It's the most authentic Italian food I have ever tried! The ambience was good but the girls behind us were screaming for 2 hours straight... 😪 it gets really noisy. I've always liked a very attentive service and our server did not come to us a lot and we had to wait to pay etc so that's why I gave it 3 stars

Food was excellent and so was the service, but the patio was extremely loud both from the people and music. It seemed a bit too "party" because of that, and took the shine off an otherwise great experience.

Really nice vibe, they had good utilization of outdoor space even in winter and it was super warm. Food was good and reasonable price

Needless to say close to almost done with my salad I found two long pieces of hair. I didn’t not complain since already through it but don’t think I’ll ever go back. I’m kind of grossed out.

It was really fun and both the tuna tartare and the rigatoni Alla vodka were delicious. They also have a peppermint espresso martini that’s really good. The hostess always says Hello to me by name and I love Quinn the server!

Had a great experience backed by solid service (a server we had before, I believe her name was Visjna? She was fantastic) and hospitable management team who went out of their way to customized a menu header for my guests birthday. Consistent dishes as always. The special however (short rib mushroom sugo) I would recommend adding more salt. Being a fat-rich dish, the meat and sauce screamed for salt. The only callout I would point to is the underhanded 3.5% service charge on the check which instead of adding that towards the end, the restaurant should really just work this into their menu pricing.
