Our flagship pub offers a 2 rosette modern pub menu with a twist.

Please not we are closed Monday & Tuesdays

Wednesday to Saturday as follows

Open from 10am our barista will be making a range of specialty coffee. From your classics to our weekly specials like egg coffee! Our in house baker will also be showcasing pastries & cakes, served until 3pm (No booking required)

Lunch is served 12 - 2.30

At The Pig, we think lunch should be lunch! Affordable & delicious. We change our menu fortnighthly but always offer a range of sandwiches & light mains. Showcasing our local ingredients and chefs skills as a baker and butcher. (No bookings required to come on in!)

Dinner 4.45 - 9.00

Our a la carte weekly black board menu showcases local season ingredients in a range of small & large plates. Booking is advised

Sunday lunch 12 - 4

Our famous sunday lunch is back. Plated roast with all the trimmings, alongside some season specials.

We had a fabulous Sunday lunch, the menu was just right and the food delicious. The staff are so attentive and helpful and a credit to the Pig on The Hill. We had a great time and can't wait to try the evening menu.

We had Sunday lunch, chicken and belly pork was fabulous plentiful portions. Had to try the brownie and sticky toffee dessert and it didn’t disappoint. Will definitely return and recommend to family and friends

Absolutely amazing food, very friendly and attentive staff. Great feel to the place. Would definitely go back and certainly reckon to others.

Pig on the Hill is one of our local favourites. The food is always outstanding. The service was fabulous. We felt very well looked after. Thanks for a lovely evening to celebrate my mums birthday.

On holiday and booked table having read previous reviews. Food was amazing and staff very helpful and polite. Nothing was too much bother. Will definitely return if back in the area.

Booked a table at the Pig on the Hill for a birthday lunch for my mum who loves a roast dinner. Excellent food and service, good portion sizes with lots of meat, and always a bonus to have a restaurant that is dog friendly so we were able to bring our lurcher! She was appreciative of the meat portion sizes too after getting a few cheeky scraps! We were only visiting as it was near to where we stayed for a family weekend away so unsure when we’ll be back again, but will certainly try to remember for next time we visit Devon.
