    I always like this restaurant, but it's not outstanding. More interesting and flavorful dishes would make it a stand out. I had the trout, which could have done with a lot less bland sauce. The flatiron steak was fine, nothing special, but the potatoes were very tasty. My husband had the chicken puttanesca, which was the best of the three. The doughnuts were delicious but not hot. We will be back, but more imagination in the kitchen would be welcome.

    It used to be a reasonably good restaurant and now the quality is very bad. It’s sad to see restaurants fall so badly. All dishes where tasteless. Nothing to do with authentic Italian cuisine.

    Carin was an exceptional server. She handled inside and outside tables flawlessly and her suggestions were spot on. Food was delicious as always.

    We went for a dinner date and had Gabriella who was amazing! She gave us strong recommendations and was friendly and attentive. Great food! Definitely get the Short Rib - the salsa verde on it with the polenta is out of this world.

    We were really disappointed. Another restaurant recommended this place, so we felt confident going and eating a yummy dinner. It turned out not so good. The lasagne had a lot of great reviews, but it has no flavor. Two bites, and that was it. The short rob with pappardelle pasta was an exciting order, but a few bites later, the flavor just wasn't there. Another ordered the bolognese, and it lacked flavor, too. I'm not sure what went wrong, but the chef needs to step up his flavors. We won't likely go back.

    Piatti is on our list of reliable places to dine out where we know the experience will be consistently good. This visit was no exception. The staff was respectful and welcoming and our waiter, Tyler, was very professional and helpful. Piatti Eilan’s ambiance is laid back and generally on the quieter side on weekday evenings.. it was a Monday night so a small crowd and peacefully quiet. Tyler was able to answer all our questions about the menu items and handled special requests perfectly. We were impressed by his professional demeanor and confidence. We enjoyed an appetizer of olives along with the packed pear salad. This was followed by entrees of lasagna and the sweet potato crusted trout with a vegetable modification of asparagus instead of pasta. We also ordered the bread service 1/2 way through the meal. Everything was prepared and presented perfectly. The food was delicious as usual. If we had to have a criticism it was that the food arrived very quickly in succession from initial drink to appetizer/salad to entree. It wasn’t busy but the pace could have been a little slower on food arrival to linger a bit. Overall, a great meal.

    Was really disappointed in the quality of the food. Haven’t been there in a while however, it used to be really good. The cocktails were watered down along with the Caesar salad being served with large hard shaved slices of Parmesan cheese. The sweet potato crusted trout was drenched with a sauce on top of the crust which made the crust soggy and no longer crisp. You should never put a sauce on top of anything you want to remain crispy when eaten and served. Always the sauce goes on the bottom. The best part of the meal was the sourdough crusty bread with dipping sauce and the Affogato dessert. Would not recommend .

    The food was delicious, I love the sourdough bread, and everything we ordered was well-prepared and flavorful. However, we had to wait quite a while before we could place our main course order, which was a bit frustrating. The service could have been more attentive, but overall, it was a good dining experience.

    Donovan gave us an excellent experience at Piatti’s tonight. He answered many questions about our food choices and was so attentive . The food was excellent as well!

    First time there, had amazing food and the staff was very helpful with menu items and recommendations. The hostesses also helped me out with hiding a ring to my now Fiancé, so I really appreciate all they did. Would definitely go back!!!!
