Unfortunately, during our two day stay, Pergola grossly disappointed in every way. As the only option for any dining while staying at The Bellevue, the restaurant was under prepared for the hotel being at full occupancy. Over two days, there were multiple fails over three attempts to dine here, resulting in only one VERY delayed in-room dining delivery, despite being told 40 minutes, it was double that. Additionally, our party of 5 arrived in person for breakfast twice, only to waste 2 hours each morning and ultimately not even able to get a cup of coffee to go. Two day stay, not one bite of breakfast. Multiple guests offered suggestions to make the morning go smoother to no avail. The lack of flexibility and hospitality was the biggest disappointment…aside from what felt like a wild goose chase during our stay, making reservations, arriving, being told to come back, coming back, longer wait, back down in the elevators, with no alternative arrangements in place. I could go on and on, but cannot think of an experience that befuddled us more during all of years of travels. While many other hotels offer Unreasonable Hospitality, The Bellevue struggled with even Reasonable Hospitality. Truly, still baffled that not even a cup of coffee was available in the lobby or at the restaurant to go while tables were empty, it was a buffet breakfast, and guests were waiting. Baffled at The Bellevue.

We had a not so great experience and then there was a fight by the bar. Everything was handled poorly. Food was very salty. Poor service!

This restaurant took place of the other one that was called the 19th and was absolutely beautiful with an outdoor terrace overlooking the city. After the renovation the majority of it including the terrace was converted into private events venue and what’s now being called a Pergola restaurant is nothing but a small row of tables in the hallway with a dominant bar area. I booked a table there for Valentine’s Day and they couldn’t find my reservation but seated us anyway because the dining area was almost empty. The bar area on the other hand was packed with drunken Eagles fans that were super loud and super close to our table, we couldn’t really enjoy the experience so I had to ask for a different table which turned out to be wobbly and my $20 drink kept getting spilled. We ended up getting yet another table but at this point the mood was completely ruined. I have to acknowledge that our waiter was very attentive and accommodating and the food was great but but overall, the new restaurant is total disappointment, being so high on the 19th floor we couldn’t even enjoy the view from the windows because they were very high off the floor and for some reason covered with kitchen type curtains. We will never be back again.

Our serer was amazing. The food was overpriced and just ok. There were not many options to choose from. The silver ware was dingy. I'm usually not picky about stuff like that, but it was very noticeable. It looked dirty and I asked for another set. And it's just old, never seen the light of polish, flatware.

Was surprised that new restaurant was located in the hallway space. No view of the city, as used to be in the old restaurant and bar. There was no reason to place it on 19 floor without view. Service and drinks were very good.

Horrible job with the interior. It is not the same old iconic Nineteen. Sad to see such a wonderful restaurant turned into a lobby restaurant. Total fail! Rethink your strategy and put the restaurant back into the previous wonderful space prior to the renovation. Appetizers and main course were really good. 2 out of the 3 desserts were a complete fail. Service was great. Drinks were very expensive.

This is a newer dining space at the Bellevue Hotel. Space is small with tables only going down one wall. Decor is very pretty and there is a small bar. Service was excellent, not a large selection of food choices for an entree. I had salmon, my husband had a steak, both were cooked well and very good. They add an 18% gratuity to the bill. We also ate there for breakfast it was a buffet for $42 a person, again service was excellent but nothing special about the food, just normal breakfast fare.

Unfortunately the Bellevue removed a beautiful restaurant space in "XIX at the Bellevue" that was worth going to for the views, ambiance, space, and food and replaced it with what feels like an after-thought space in the newly renovated Bellevue hotel. It is still on the 19th floor but don't let that fool you. It is tucked into one small side of the building, no real views or anything special about the space. Doesn't really even feel like a restaurant, more like a side lounge space they decided to serve food at and build a small bar. The service and food unfortunately also feel like an afterthought, the service was INCREDIBLY SLOW, it took over 2 hours for lunch for 4 adults and one child. While it was nice to not be rushed as we were visiting with out of town friends, there is a balance to be struck between not rushed and feeling like you were forgotten about and this was not it. Given the location, it is not cheap by any means but the food is nothing special or anything to write home about. Overall there is nothing that would make me recommend this restaurant or have any desire to go back in the future, its honestly not even worth it for hotel guests unless your desperate. But given the location, there are many other options nearby. I understand the reasoning behind turning the old restaurant space into event space and leasing it to Cescaphe Catering, I'm sure they're making more money off it as an event venue, but disappointing to remove such a neat restaurant space and good food from the general public. The renovations to the Bellevue Lobby looked nice though.

If you’re looking for brunch, this isn’t your spot. Having dined at XIX for brunch in the past, I was expecting a similar experience but this was not similar in any way to previous offerings. Pergola is in a beautiful spot and is well decorated and comfortable but offers only a fairly standard buffet breakfast experience for an exorbitant price. While the food was good, be certain you look at the menu before you go so you know what to expect.
