I was surprised by the experience that we had especially in regards to the reviews. The hostess was unfriendly and unwelcoming. The ambience felt old, stuffy and the patrons were strangely unfriendly as well. The food was ok, definitely not worth the price. Our server Chance was the only bright spot, he was friendly and attentive. I do not recommend this place.

First time @ POTG. Tried Bohannans previously. What a gem interpreting Chefs Mothers/Grandmothers food memories. Great product and execution. Must do. Thanks to all!

I am sorry, you can’t serve a CFS soggy. I even asked for gravy on the side to protect the crispness. Wife liked the CFC.

Food was outstanding, the staff was wonderful. And if it had been for the bridal party the corner of restaurant being so loud it would have been a great night. We couldn’t even either young man playing his guitar and singing.

First time at Peggy’s! Very delicious and well prepared food. Kaitlyn our server was awesome and even tolerated my “Dad Humor” well. Front desk ladies not that attentive. The Red Deer Chops were delicious and perfectly prepared. My wife had the Sweet Tea Brined Chicken Breast. She loved it although she expected it to be a boneless breast but it was not. She still enjoyed it. But those buscuits!!!! Simply AMAZING!! Desert offerings not optimal but what we had was very good (brownie and flourless chocolate cake). All in all the ambiance, service & food was what one would expect from a Bohannons inspired restaurant. Always excellent. The fact the owner/chef created Peggy’s to honor his mother added to the story. Will definitely be back.

Peggys on The Green is a fantastic restaurant. We have been coming there since its opening and have always enjoyed the attention to detail from the historic location the bar and of course the food is the best . The staff is also second to none ! Keep up the great experience! Thank you

My mom was visiting for valentines. I took her to lunch to celebrate the day. The hostess gave us each a beautiful red rose. Our waiter was William and he was wonderful. We each had the spinach salad - delicious. Overall experience was great. As we were leaving my mom said the roses and William made our day extra special :) Thank you
