    Food was prepared well and tasted fantastic. The appetizers were perfect sizes and led to a well-received main course. The Baklava could have used a bit more honey for dessert.

    Appetizers were amazing and great ambiance. The service was awful. One of the flaming cheeses they didn’t light, the second round of drinks came after finished meal, and entrees were staggered making couple people wait for awhile before they got served. Place has a lot of potential so we will try again to see if get a better service experience and was just an off night.

    Delicious food. The portions are huge! All said it was the best spanakopita they’ve ever had.

    Parea exceeded our high expectations! The authentic Greek food is a distinct step up from offerings in the area. The space has a cozy mediterranean vibe and the servers were friendly and very knowledgeable. I would particularly recommend the shrimp Mykonos and coming early if you can as everything is freshly made and they do run out of some popular items!

    We’ve been to Greece many times, admiring the cuisine, culture, architecture, and the Cycladic design we love so much. Parea does a great job of capturing the warm, family feeling while incorporating various familiar elements of Greek decor and theming. We ordered cocktails that we enjoyed (Garden, Karpouzi, Not Today Hades, and the Greek Sangria), along with the tzatziki and tirokafteri dips with warm pita bread. The tirokafteri, a spicy feta dip, was the big hit for everyone at the table. They didn’t have the skordalia dip this time (a delicious garlic dip made with small bits of potatoes), but might bring it back in the future. For salad we had the classic Horiatiki (traditional Greek village salad), and the calamari. Both were delicious. The horiatiki was done so well and had a perfect vinaigrette on it. I hope this doesn’t change at all, because it was quite literally what we know and love about Greece! <3 For our main course, we ordered the Chicken Souvlaki, the Lamb Shank, the Cast Iron Moussaka, and the Chicken Tata. Everything was really great, and generous portions. The Chicken Tata was similar to a chicken schnitzel and had a side of pasta. We ended our meal with Mastiha (a sweet digestif that’s much better tasting than Ouzo; you must try it if you haven’t), and the Portokalopita (an orange cake) that were both great. There are still so many menu items we want to try like Phyllis’ Potatoes, Pastitsio, Greek Tea, Saganaki, Spanakopita, Beefteki, Tiropitakia, and more. It’s so exciting to see authentic Greek brands like Alpha, Mythos (the beers of Greece), Skinos and more. The beauty and hospitality of Greece has arrived to Maitland, and we’re so happy! We’ll be back very soon. I can’t wait to see lunch options in the near future. I’m hoping for fries inside gyros, galaktobouriko, and maybe some Cretan options.

    Tried the restaurant, knowing it recently opened and on New Years Eve. Have dined at several Greek Restaurants around the country. The food was fair to marginal. Appetizers were better than entrees. We expected food with good Greek flavors and were mostly disappointed. Grilled octopus was good. Spanakopita was over cooked and literally burnt. Dolmades were barely edible. Ordered lamb chops, they were ok, lacked flavor. Not worth the $40 menu price. Our Family loves Greek potatoes as we grew up on them in my Yia Yia’s kitchen. The ones we were served were tough and under cooked. I am confident the restaurant will appeal to folks who have limited experience with Greek Food as the atmosphere is lively and good for large groups. For others, it likely will be a disappointment. Hopefully, as the restaurant evolves the food will improve as Central Florida could use a good Greek restaurant.

    From the minute we entered, staff was friendly and pleasantly greeted us. We were seated and our enthusiastic server tended our table within a minute. She was knowledgeable and took the time twice to leave our table to find answers to questions we had about menu items. Everything from the tableware and glassware to the decor is inspired and fresh. Drinks were top notch—beautifully crafted and garnished. And the food! Everything we had was delicious! Seasonings are impeccable. Portions are very generous. Each of us (4 adults) thoroughly enjoyed our meals and can’t wait to return.
