   We are so happy that Oy Bar has come to Wimbledon. The drink selection is extensive and well priced and the food is fantastic. It’s the intimate yet welcoming wine bar that Wimbledon has needed for some time!

   Food - Nice food but expensive for the amount you get. Example: £17 baked prawns you get about 5 prawns and the rest is bread, and even so portion isn’t too big. Etc. Drinks - Nice selection of wines (could have more but it’s ok) Service - slow, un-attentive, waitress overwhelmed with the amount of table. I believe there was one person looking after the whole restaurant, and it was a Saturday night so very busy. All in all ok, but not great.

   Lovely to try a new restaurant. Loved the idea of the wines £25, which is a good rice for a bottle in a restaurant, and then the next set at a higher price, etc etc Loved the crockery the food was served on. Saw another customer order a salad and it looked fab. It’s lovely to come to a restaurant that does seafood! We came in the day, perhaps the ambience would be better in the evening, perhaps with candle light. Will come again.

   Good food, a welcome menu with oysters which were fresh. Great champagne for reasonable money. The service might be warmer and the music was too loud the night we went. But overall great place and really enjoyed it.

   The place is lovely The male staff. Little dour but professional The beef dish was a little tough I guess it’s not the place to go for such things as the salad was lovely

   Very expensive for what was served. The mains were small with very little meat or fish, for example the garlic prawn main only had 4 small prawns and was padded out with croutons and the boeuf bourguignon had 3 small pieces of beef and was mostly sauce and potato. It was also surprising that the moules weren't served with frites. The first seafood platter was more reasonable. The noise level was very high, no soft furnishings so the restaurant was like an echo chamber. There was no toilet paper in the ladies. I wouldn't recommend going for a meal, perhaps a quick drink and a snack would be ok.

    The whole experience was alright. We found the wine was fantastic and the food was too. The service really let the whole restaurant down. Upon arrival, we were not greeted with a welcome. Instead, a man just said “have you got a reservation”. Then, we were given our menu, we were not told that there was no snails available. We only found out when we ordered. When our food arrived, we were basically shouted at saying “there you go” and when my husband’s mussels came, the waiter just said “mussels”. There was no pleasantries, no conversation, and it seemed like the waiters was so unhappy to be there which made us feel the same. I would not return sadly as the service has let the restaurant down. Shame.
