The food was AMAZING!! Everything from the drinks, appetizers to entree. I took my best friend there for her birthday dinner. We made reservations and had a table, therefore having a server, the service was not the best. It took about 5-10 minutes just to get waters to the table, after that it took another 10-15 minutes to get our food orders taken and we were informed the kitchen was closing soon so around the 10 minute mark we started to get nervous. It was SOO loud, the way sound travels in there was insane. It’s a nice, semi fine dining experience(minus the service, more so the atmosphere and food/drinks) but super loud. The outside seating area was lovely.

Service was decent and the ambience is beautiful. It’s an amazingly beautiful restaurant, but the food was pretty average. My salmon was good, but no one asked what temperature I wanted it so it was mediumeWell. My friend got shrimp and grits and said they were really salty without a lot of flavor. Maybe stick with the rooftop bar… Their menu is limited, but it’s very tasty.

The atmosphere was awesome, but that's where my good experience ended. The menu was way too limited and overpriced. If they get the menu right, Overstory would be a slam dunk! I don't think I'll return.

Blah. This place has so much potential but fails to deliver. Service was atrocious. A beautiful roof top bar but fails to deliver.

Went there for a brunch for mom’s birthday. Had a service personnel spill the jam on one of our jackets and scarf. The manager did take of some items off of our check. The waitress apologized for the spill of jam at the end (it’s wasn’t her) but it didn’t boost the mood. The wait for the food was quite long for what seemed to be not an extremely busy time. There were only 4 more tables beside us. The items on the menu for brunch were very skimpy and basic for the price. Short ribs hash we ordered was tasteless and almost room temperature and looked like somebody chewed it before serving. Not much to choose for someone who’s gluten free, though when reservations were made, we wrote a note about it. The açaí bowl came after everyone ate though it was ordered right in the beginning. I don’t think we’ll be going back!

My overall experience was great upon walking in. The restaurant was beautiful, the ambiance was amazing! The hostess was great, but unfortunately that was overshadowed by my interaction with my waitress Christina. After being served Christina thought it would be a great idea to give me a lesson on what salt and pepper was as well as how to use them. To say that was insulting would be an understatement. Her check in’s were more of an are you done yet than how’s everything going. My meal felt very rushed. She also forgot that it was a birthday being celebrated, we waited at least 20 minutes after she shoved the device to pay down my throat. I would definitely dine there again but never with her as a waitress. What was supposed to be a celebration was everything but due to her extremely unprofessional service.
