Omakase By Aung is modern, up beat and contemporary sushi omakase restaurant located at 567 Kapahulu Ave next to world famous Waikiki beach in Honolulu. Mixture of Edomae style nigiris and model innovative nigiris will be served in 1 hour 45 minutes long Omakase meal. Seasonal fish from around the world are used in the 15 courses omakase meal.
Omakase by Aung provides single 15 courses menu to all customers for both Lunch and Dinner Service.
Chef Aung will provide laid back and fun experience for all sushi lovers. Open kitchen with a long 12 seats sushi counter in the middle of the restaurant allows interactive experience between the customers and the chefs.

    Absolutely amazing & the chefs were awsm. Makes celebrating our bday so special & our last day in Hawaii even more spectacular. Definitely recommend this place

    Chef and staff were so friendly. Food was so good for its price, definitely one of the best and more unique omakase I have had so far!

    What a special spot! Aung and team host you like family. Each course is an impeccable taste of heaven, without pretension. Also, SO MUCH FUN!

    Incredible atmosphere! We were the only people in the restaurant and it felt like a friend was cooking us lunch. I would recommend this place to anyone!

    Amazing! Very personable and interactive. You can tell he really has fun with it and wants you to enjoy it too. PS bring a bottle of tequila and he’ll drink with you!!!

    This was my first Omakase experience, Aung was highly recommended by someone we came across on the North Shore. Let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint. Aung was so vibrant and he definitely made the experience even better. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was great. Hands down a MUST.

    My girlfriend and I came here for our 1 year anniversary, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The food was really really good, I don’t think I’ve ever had better sushi in my life. From the rice, to the quality with which each piece was formed, to the wasabi, to the fish itself, it was immaculate. Everything really just melted in my mouth. The ambiance was amazing too, there was music and conversation, we had smiles on our faces the entire time.
