   I was so excited to return to this amazing restaurant after the renovations. Honestly…the food is still perfect but the lighting now is not. Turn them down turn them off. The super cool vibe was completely erased. I sincerely hope you can undo this.

   Delicious omakase Japanese. You can see the chefs making the food with skill and care. Wonderful, kind service with a genuine love for the food. Loved the oysters, sashimi, tatami and omg the scallop kuromai is to die for!! Must try if you love Japanese cuisine.

   Annie and her husband were super sweet, they were very attentive and loved what they were doing. We tried their new cocktails, the lavender cream soda and shiso spritz- they are a must order !! We ordered the tasting menu and a side of the fried chicken, everything was phenomenal. Our favourites were the uni toast, the hojicha ice cream and the fried chicken. We found the tataki and wagyu was a little overcooked for our taste, but it was still amazing ! We’re still stunned about the meal even the day after, we can’t wait to go back !!

   Very cozy restaurant with delicious food. They seem to be a mix of Japanese and Korean food. I tried their tasting menu ($95) which was overall tasty but only 1-3 dishes of the entire course were especially delicious. They have a coat rack and hook under the table for any bags which I found very convenient.

   Amazing menu with immaculate service & presentation. Our servers were so helpful & kind and the menu is so well put together and every item we had was fantastic.

   The vibe of this newly renovated restaurant completely killed the soul of this once dimly lit romantic watering hole with amazing sushi. It now feels like a bright modern waiting room the food didn’t taste the same (chewy wagyu) despite the chefs/menu remaining the same. They should update google images or website so customers have the right expectations. This new look will attract a very very different crowd.

   The team at Omai is all around amazing. I’ve been many times and never been disappointed. There’s always someone doing that little thing extra to make your experience special. And the renovations look great!
