The food was good, the ambiance was extremely loud, the service was quick. Our server was a bit awkward which made us feel a bit awkward. Some highlights: - the food was fresh and hot - accommodated our reservation even after being late, much appreciated! -the food was delicious -we sat by the open windows Low lights: -we ate about half or less than half our meal so that we had room for dessert but when we got home we realized we had about a 1/4 of our food. REALLY strange. -the server couldn’t tell me where the service fee goes. I don’t mind paying a little more for others BUT if the staff doesn’t even know where it goes for certain post covid, it seems a little sketch. There’s been A LOT of restaurants that actually steal that service fee and don’t actually give it to staff so weird that the waiter didn’t know if they actually got it. Overall a good experience but there are so many other Italian spots that I’d rather try!

Amazing pasta. Great wine list with discount program. Our server, Alex, was top notch and helped us navigate menu and wines well; we were super happy with our selections. We are delighted to have found this gem and will be back many times!

We went to Olio e Piü last nightly for dinner. It was a little challenging to find, because we are from out of town and didn't realize the roads were different levels. Once we found it, we were seated promptly at our reservation time, and our waiter was fantastic. He was very helpful and attentive. The food came very fast and was the most delicious meal we'd had in Chicago. My husband and I ordered the spinach ravioli, Brussels sprouts, and saltimbocca di pollo to share. It was all amazing. My only regret is I was too full to try their tiramisu, lol.

The overall experience with the team at Olio e Piu - Chicago was very good. The food was very tasty and our server was attentive with us, a group of 8, all the time. We were situated on a quite and private room.
