At the heart of town right on the beach in Philipsburg you will find the Holland House Beach Hotel. The Ocean Lounge restaurant is the perfect place to celebrate, have a casual dinner overlooking the ocean, relax and sample the cuisine created by the international mix of chefs. The restaurant offers a beautiful evening setting with an open air lounge cool music and boutique style vibe. The bar serves craft cocktails and a wide selection of wines from the Wine Spectator awarded wine cellar. Staff will welcome you with a warm Caribbean smile and courtesy and offer you the lunch or dinner menu full of International, European and local Caribbean dishes like the fresh Spiny Lobsters from the Saba bank. We have had better steak. Also we informed them it was our 20 year anniversary and they didn’t even acknowledge it. When you decide to spend your time with a special restaurant they should at least acknowledge it! Ambiance is good! Price is high.

We were excited to go here and celebrate our 25th anniversary, which I put in the reservation request. When we arrived, we were seated at a table with a fabric seat that had been soaked earlier in the day and I ended up with a soggy dress. They also put us next to a table with a small child watching tv loudly on their parents phone. I don’t have problem with kids but it wasn’t exactly the atmosphere I was hoping for to celebrate our anniversary. The food was ok, nothing special. The highlight was that our server was excellent but that didn’t make up for the experience. I wouldn’t go back. There are better restaurants in St. Martin.

Hands down, it is one of our best dining experiences on the island! Our server was terrific, and it made us feel special with a birthday celebration while playing “Celebrate” by Kool & the Gang and took amazing photos of us. They also played old-school Jah Cure, which matched the vibe of the beautifully designed restaurant on the boardwalk overlooking the water.

Wonderful food and wait staff. A must try! The polenta croutons,tuna tataki, and salmon were great.

It’s a great dinner and experience. The Caesar salad is a must. The polenta croutons were so good! after we told the hostess, the chef sent us back to the hotel with a box of fresh, warm croutons to go. Grilled seafood was good, too.

We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. However one person ordered medium rare tenterloin steak but he got a medium well. That was a bit disappointing. Cosmos were amazing
