The restaurant needs refurbishing. The service was good. The food was mediocre. Overall a disappointing experience.

The food was excellent. Everything we ate was extremely tasty and interesting. The servers were great. If you are tying to choose between the two restaurants at the Chateau Montebello, the Nymark has the more interesting menu for a better price than Aux Chantignoles. My only complaint is that the live music (we were there on a Saturday night) was a bit loud at times. But it wasn’t obnoxiously loud.

Wonderful, friendly and helpful service, amazing food, chef is inventive but yet familiar foods, great good wine selection, great cocktails, had live music - was fun, still intimate and entertaining. Wonderful evening out

Very good experience. Waiter was excellent. Live musician, singing and guitar, was a nice bonus. They had a special on oysters and duck wings...both good, but the entrees were quite small for the price.

We couldn’t hear anything except for the extremely loud live music. Female singer playing guitar, hee voice was amazing but it was so loud that it made it impossible to enjoy the night. Service was very slow. We waited 18 minutes before anyone came to our table to even offer water. Oysters on the 1/2 shell weren’t fully sliced and were mushy. The rest of the Food was delicious, however the portions of the mains were small for the price. I wouldn’t recommend at all.

Absolutely the worst tasting menu I’ve ever had. Not to mention the hefty 300$ price tag. Their online menu is not updated to the current menu so they don’t give u a wide variety of dishes. Flavourless, overcooked small portions that did not reflect indigenous cuisine. Shockingly unrefined and uninspired dishes. No understanding of how to cook fresh ingredients. Not elevated or classy experience.

The live singer was so loud that we choose to go to another restaurant. The young man who was our waiter told us it was very often that people complained about that and that the maître d’hôtel said he couldn’t do anything about it… Very disappointed. It was also smelling humidity.

The food and the service were great, but a very loud twosome played disco and rock hits from the 70’s throughout the evening, making it difficult to even hear the waiter at times. It felt as though we were at a cheap wedding reception. We could see people at other tables straining to hear each other. Make sure to find out what type of music is playing before you reserve.

Le menu dégustation est à éviter. Tous les plats étaient froids. Nous avons retourné le poulet deux fois, l’osso-buco était froid avec la sauce figée dans le fond du plat en fonte., Bref nous avons été très déçus de notre expérience. Toutefois, nous soulignons le professionnalisme de la serveuse qui a fait des pieds et des mains pour rendre plus agréable notre expérience. Malgré un dédommagement du maître d’hôtel, ce fut un dîner d’anniversaire raté.
