    Great service at first then we seem to loose our server. Bar is very slow our drink’s arrived after our food came. Our food was salty and others not very good. They just opened so perhaps they’re still hashing things out. We will come back in a month or so. Hopefully they have a new chef and bartender Our server was very friendly but I think she was given more tables because awe didn’t see her for a while. some other employees was bringing our food to us Good luck !!!

    This is an unfair review. We had dinner on a Monday night following the weekend reopening of NBR after a year closed. The restaurant looks great. We started by sharing the Pasta del giorno, which was fantastic. From there the service was erratic, the  entrées were served cool at best. There was no caffeine free cappuccino and amazingly no Sambuca for after dinner enjoyment. We’ll try again in a few months and see if they have worked through their start up processes and become again the restaurant we enjoyed for so many years.

    Outstanding to have NBR back. Chicken Mattone was excellent. Previous owners were awful. Francesco, new owner, returning restaurant to the place where they treat you like family. Very happy it is back open with new management.

    Happy that we have NBR back. Our party of 6 was rather disappointed with the menus limited selection. We waited 45 minutes for our Server to take our order and 20 plus minutes for any plates to hit the table. Food was barely warm at best. The food was certainly not what we recall from years oh dining at NBR. We understand the establishment has just been open a few days, and blame the negativity on the staff and kitchen working the kinks out. I certainly hope the menu will grow and reflect some of the wonderful selections that NBR served in the past. One fixture of the past was Willie Brown in the front window.

    It was great to have the North Beach restaurant back in business. The staff appeared to be a bit overwhelmed at the start, but service picked up as the evening went on. The food and wine pairing was fairly good. We all enjoyed tasting the del Gigilio wines & Everyone at our table enjoyed the rigatoni w/pork cheek and the oxtail meatball

    Always enjoyed North Beach Restaurant however this particular evening did not live up to food exceptions although my colleague and I appreciated the fine wine and atmosphere. Will try again sometime.
