With simple ingredients and bold flavors, Normandie has created a name for itself within the Central Eastside’s lauded food scene. Normandie is a neighborhood bistro that combines French inspiration with the bounties of the Pacific Northwest. We really liked Normandie. The service is exceptional and the food is gorgeous. The highlights were the oxtail croquettes, the albacore and the coffee cardamom ice-cream. Our little gem salad was medium so skip that. Everything else was solid and beautifully plated.

Great local spot with innovative and delicious food (and cocktails)! We were first-timers but will definitely become regulars.

Food, service and ambiance were all top notch. Parking was hard to find so leave extra time to find some.

We had a fantastic experience. From start to finish. They were able to accommodate a gluten free request and a shellfish allergy with no problems. Subs were available. The smoked beet salad was well balanced, salmon was delectable, but let's talk more about the chocolate mousse! If I could explain it, I would. Just try it.

The food was so delicious that all four of us were a bit flabbergasted. We ordered many sides and every one was incredible. The devil eggs the crab beignets and the poached prawns were beyond fabulous. Cannot say enough.
