Outstanding fresh, imaginative, and presented sushi. Excellent variety of rolls, nigiri, and special offerings. Attractive restaurant, a bit loud but manageable. Sat in the front room. The second room is quieter and has the Omekase bar. The outdoor patio was closed but looked nice. Service was efficient and pleasant. Only issue is the very aggressive pricing. This place is VERY expensive ... New York expensive ... but equally good (if not better). Dinner for two with wine was @ $400.

It's always disappointing when you return to what you thought was the best restaurant in town with a high anticipation and excitement for a special occasion and the reality doesn't deliver or meet up to your expectations....We were blown away on our first visit back in November and was so happy to get a table on Valentines day eve. I get it- usually the expectation is what sets the disappointment. But when the dining experience costs you $200+ for 2 people, I think your expectation also goes up....Upon arrival, a very lukewarm greeting by the hostess, then was told, with no empathy, to just wait until closer to my reservation time (we arrived 15 min earlier). Didn't think much about it, we got sat on time, then was so excited and hungry and ordered 2 crudo, 2 rolls, 2 entrees immediately (3 dishes that we wanted to order were all unavailable, 2 of the rolls, no scallops, and potentially no Sapporo) ....only to get our orders come out in different orders with an unusual long wait time in between. 2 Crudos, then, about 20 min wait, 1 entree, then, 1 roll, then another 20 minutes wait (it felt eternity lol) the 2nd roll, and the 2nd entree came out. We were told that they were 1 man down in the kitchen and that they were swamped. We understand and we really appreciate everyone doing their best to accommodate us through the challenges. But overall our experience was disappointing. They did provide us with a complimentary dessert, which was a nice gesture.

Amazing atmosphere, great food and drinks. Perfect for a date night - loved the style, modern Japanese and best sushi I’ve had in Usa so far.

Reserve the patio. This time of year it is lovely, quiet and romantic. The food was quite good and the service was exceptional. One expects a sommelier to help with wine selection but selection of sake is a greater challenge; but one the bartender rose to meet. Great evening.

Absolutely outstanding..food was scrumptious, different, presentation amazing, our server was dynamite, knew the menu inside and out and everything she recommended was right there! Apologies do not recall her name tall thing very confident lady!! Will be back for sure.

Always a great meal here. Coming during happy hour lets us try more things and still save some money. The ambiance is great and we have always had great service.

One of the few places in Jacksonville where the quality is always consistent, the dishes are always fresh & flavorful, and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

This is my 2nd time within 2 weeks I go to this place because everything about it is perfect, from the service to the music, food , drinks. They had a very nice show last night which they do on Friday.. beautiful setting. But the food OMG specially the sushi it is the absolute best in town.
