Food and restaurant decor is decent. The service staff is rather cold and uninviting. They were professional but lacked enthusiasm and warmth. Not once did they introduce themselves, the restaurants, or note that it was my birthday and never asked for allergies. Could be better, a shame as the food is good.

Specifically what made our experience bad was our server. It took a while for him to take our order and had trouble answering questions (such as is this pasteurized, which dish do you recommend), and We also had to request a drink menu as it was not given to us. My friend and I are visibility pregnant and ordered nogroni sbagliato (mocktail) and pointed on the menu as well to be very clear. We realized after a sip He served us alcoholic negroni, when we told him he said in Italy its like this and then brushed us off and went to get us the mocktail. He didn’t apologize. After taking our order, he never came by to check on us, he came by only to clear our plates and refill table water which was appreciated. Afterwards he did not offer us a dessert menu and at this point we decided to just get the bill. Overall I would not go back

Such a great night out with family friends, the food was some of the best I've had in Toronto. The pasta is especially delicious, and the creative options for pizza were super appreciated by our group. Our server was so nice, and the lighting was great, and it was very much appreciated that they turned the music down a little because some members of our party had some hearing challenges. After 15 years of dining out in Toronto, definitely one of the best experiences out that I've had.

It was a very pleasant experience. Our server, Jeff, was friendly and helpful in providing us with information about the meals since 2 members of our party were gluten and dairy intolerant. There were options which were available,however I think there weren't enough. Their choices were limited. The food was tasty. Portions were a bit small in some of the meals. More chicken and fish meals would be plus. I will return.

Another fantastic Nodo dinner! This Hillcrest gem always makes us feel so welcome; the ambiance is warm, the decor simply perfect. Lots of delicious food options. Special call-out to our server and the mixologist who delivered on a tasty lychee martini! Will definitely be back!
