We are a farm to table fine dining restaurant in an elegant setting with fabulous views of the surrounding mountains. The 4-course price fixed dinner menu ($95.00 per person, tax and gratuity not included) and 3 course brunch menu ($45.00 per person, tax and gratuity not included ) that changes monthly and focuses on regional seasonal ingredients many of which come from our organic garden. Aaron Edwards is extraordinarily gifted in the culinary arts. Each item on every plate is uniquely prepared in an innovative way to deliver maximum sensual pleasure in both taste and appearance. With our friendly professional servers, incredibly beautiful setting and amazing food this is way more than fine dining. It's a true dining experience! Our Menu changes monthly based on what is available and in season at the time. Feel free to call us anytime and we can tell you exactly what is on the menu for that week.

  • An Evening on the Titanic Dinner

    Thursday, April 10th, starting at 6:30 pm (guests are welcome to join us early for light refreshments). We will be commemorating the historic voyage of the Titanic which sank on April 14, 1912 during its maiden voyage. A professional actor, Steve Carlisle, will be portraying the Executive manager of White Star Cruise Lines and recount each day’s activities and interesting factoids about the ship and its passengers between each course during dinner. The four courses will replicate those that were served on the night of the ship’s fateful demise. The evening promises to be a culinary and experiential delight and a wonderfully entertaining dinner theatre in a fabulous inside or outside setting. Please call us at 828-749-5471 with questions.

    We found the food to be just okay and significantly overpriced. Our biggest disappointment, however, was the service, which steadily declined as the meal progressed. The worst came with dessert—ironically the best part of the brunch—when I was left with only my used fork to eat strudel and ice cream. Our server was nowhere to be found, and this was after we had already waited at least ten minutes for dessert to arrive following our main course. It was my wife's birthday, and we had been looking forward to something special. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a most forgettable experience.

    Our first time at Newman’s. Exceeded our expectations. Add in the beautiful view, brunch was a wonderful experience.

    We have been eating at Newmans for years, and have never been disappointed! The staff have always made us feel as though we are the only ones there! Our waitress, Tammy is awesome beyond words! The in is always an unforgettable experience!

    A special and memorable place. It is our “go to” yearly for our anniversary and our most special events. Great food. Superlative service. Worth every penny!

    This was one of their Dicken’s Dinners. It was a fixed priced, four course dinner with a gentleman dressed in period clothes reading an abridged version of the Christmas Carol. It was an enchanting evening that put us in the Christmas spirit We have eaten here many times and it always warrants a five star rating in all categories, This evening’s experience was at least 5 stars as well.

    Warm, friendly and beautiful inn with elegant dining. Greeted by a roaring fire and relaxing atmosphere. Everyone there goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable.
