Set in the picturesque village of Medbourne, in the heart of the beautiful Welland Valley, The Nevill Arms is an old stable yard and coaching inn bordering on Medbourne brook. The Nevill has ten boutique bedrooms, a stunning restaurant, welcoming bar and our brand new Josper Bar & Grill which is set back in its own private courtyard.

It was recently bought in 2021 by The Three Goat's Group and has undergone a major refurbishment whilst still keeping its original character.

The food was good. Sunday lunches are quite difficult to do well but it was good. The pork I had wasn’t the best. That just happens from time to time though

Lovely pub set along a stream. Plenty of parking. Overall a good meal. Professional attentive and friendly lervice. Chef liked to char food. For me personally, too much so I asked for my venison to be replaced with one less charred. That was done without any fuss. Other than that food was tasty well presented. For my taste, puddings were too ice cream based for a March evening. The rest of the group had delicious food and the wine choice was good, so it was my taste which didn’t suit rather than the others in the group. Would go again though.

Really lovely steak frites, could not be better. Very cold draughty from the door though and the gas fire was broken. Still had a great time, would like to come again.

The food and serving staff were exceptional. So much flavour in both dishes, decent wine unlike many pubs, friendly and efficient staff. We sat in the pub as we had our small dog with us. Both chairs were broken with wobbly backs and sunken seats making us leave before desert as very uncomfortable. £100 for two, two courses and one glass of wine each is a little steep.

Meal wasn’t as good as the previous times . Had to ask for the wine menu a couple of times not the same service as usual. New front of house manager !!!

WE had a great meal at the Nevill Arms. The food was good but not outstanding. Service was great and very efficient.
