   Great little hidden gem. Think speakeasy type place for great music, bar and nibble food. Overall loved the evening, Positive: intimate environment for live music. Nice people, nice vibe... Areas for improvement: ... soooooo, after inquiring about dinner..we planned on dinner during our visit. There was a prefix meal that had to be shared (Hard Pass for future)... the portion was single size that had to be shared. 1 pork bun, 1 pork bite size appetizer, 1pot sticker (not close to enough for 2ppl)), (side note the pot sticker was exceptional).... added a few more appetizers... was fine. The main salmon was painful, the dessert earl grey ice cream... also a future PASS. With all that said it was still a great venue with great people. Biggest negative is the 90min removals from the table, it really makes the evening feel choppy. This place would go from a 4 to a 5 with one slight change.... just have 2 seatings a night. 2 shows.. that would make the $150 total for 2ppl feel reasonable. Current way feels very choppy and expensive for the privilege. ($60 reservation fee +$90 food/ drinks).

   I always enjoy seeing performances here. I love the intimate atmosphere. Whomever designed the space did an amazing job. The sound is always the perfect mix of the performance while still being able to talk with the people at your table without having to yell.

   Great venue but experience really varies depending on those seated around you. Being seated in front of a very loud group that talks and yells over the music can impact your experience if you want to come and vibe out to the music. Staff was unhelpful with the request to ask the group behind to maintain proper etiquette despite the artist explaining to the crowd that she does not like to yell over the crowd.

   Great music, drinks, service and setting. The specialty drinks are especially good. The club is small enough that every seat is a good one. The only issue for me is that the noise level from conversations interferes with the music. Each time, there has been considerable noise and at least a couple of tables having excessively loud conversations. This last time, the performer very politely asked patrons to lower the volume. That worked beautifully. I think patrons should be advised as they enter to keep conversation volume down. One would think that if you go to a jazz club, you are there to hear the music. Clearly some people are there to primarily socialize and less to hear the music.

     I had no idea that we were about to have a very memorable, and lovely time at Mr. tipples. We were treated like VIPs from the front door by the lovely hostess. The waitstaff couldn’t have been nicer and more professional. The musicians were excellent and so was Our meal. We will be back again for sure.
