MR MIKES SteakhouseCasual is defined by what we aren’t, as opposed to what we are. We aren’t like other steakhouses. No dark lighting, starched tablecloths, pretentious servers or overpriced steaks. From our signature steaks to our famous Mikeburger®, we have something for every taste and budget. We ordered the Valentines special, the steak was good but my potatoes tasted like they can from the freezer and the second ones they brought were marginally better. Not what I expected. Also when I made reservations it did not say anything about having to reserve a booth as we were refused a booth saying we needed to have reserved one. First time that happened, not to impressed. We were offered a dessert in consideration.

We had an excellent waitress, who was friendly and attentive. The ambience is consistent to dining in a family style restaurant but the prices are more reflective of finer dining. I had a combo that was featured on the menu with french onion soup,sirloin steak with mashed potatoes, carrots and a smidge of mushrooms. The soup lacked the traditional oogie gooey cover of cheese on top, with a small amount present on a couple pieces of soggy bread. The steak was the toughest cut I have ever eaten and the mushrooms were almost dehydrated. Carrots were good! I did not feel it was great for $39. My husband bumped his steak up to a fillet mignon at an additional $11, which was more tender. He had a ceasar salad that was unusually sweet, which was just different than anticipated. His combo was $50. Would pay the little extra and venture next time to the Keg.

We haven’t been in a couple of years, and found the food not to be as good as previous. Ordered a steak rare to medium rare. It came medium well done. The server and the manager were good about taking it back and bringing a new one. Even ordering the sticky topic pudding was not up to par. It wasn’t heated enough. It was adequate.

Our server, didn't get the name was professional, friendly and outgoing. The food came out in a timely matter. Enjoyed the food and conversation with our server. Even the (manager?) came around to ask us about how our food was. Mr. Mike's still awesome.

We decided to give this place a try as part of our effort to explore new casual dining options, as we typically eat out two or three times a week. The food wasn’t bad, but for a casual dining experience, the prices felt a bit on the higher side. The overall ambiance left us a little confused. It seemed like the restaurant was trying to cater to both casual diners and a higher-end clientele, but in our opinion, it didn’t quite strike the right balance. It wasn’t clear if it was a casual dining area or a more upscale lounge. I ordered what was described as a pasta dish with steak bits. While the flavor wasn’t bad, the dish felt more like macaroni and cheese, which was a bit disappointing since I could easily make something similar at home. My guest had the "Mike Burger." He mentioned the taste was decent but not particularly memorable. In comparison to other casual dining spots we frequent, the overall value (food, service, and price) fell short. For now, we’ll likely stick to our usual hangouts, though we’ll continue exploring new places. Finding a restaurant that checks all the boxes is never easy, but good luck to everyone on their hunt for great eateries!

Great food…steak, seafood pasta. Asian noodle bowl and tuna poke were all delicious. Service was attentive.

We had a reso, good table placement with no complaints. Service was okay. Had to repeat requests a couple times for water and drink refills. Food was good as usual. Asked for a couple changes, which were done. They ran out of churros so gave us four instead of six and 50% off.
