    The steak I received was cold, but didn’t complain because I was hungry. The oysters that we ordered took 30mins to come out. My mom had to send her salad back because the lettuce was wilted. The manager was nice to take the salad off the bill. Food was not good for the price.

    The food was great and delicious. The service was poor… several times asking for each drink and bread… water was poured once at the beginning.. and the double lobster price.. then with apologies corrected..

    Table was not ready so had to wait 20 minutes...purchased 2 expensive "specials" that were bland tasting...server was few and far in between and the RUSH was over at that point...18 minutes to get a drink...43 minutes to get the dessert included in the "special"...it will be while before we go back there (if at all) with all the other restaurants in that immediate area...disappointing

    Christmas night party of 8 reservation at 5:45. This was a special night as we just lost our mother/grandmother two weeks ago. We were seated around 6:00pm. Waiter at first had a lot of energy. Took our drink orders which finally arrived to the table 30 minutes later. He begins to explaining the menu to us when we stopped him to let him know we were not given menus. I think he would have kept going had we not stopped him. We order our meals. Salads came out in a reasonable time. However, the entrees seemed to take longer than expected. When we asked the server how are food was coming along, he said “it is not my job to watch the kitchen” and then he blamed the delay on us because we ordered a medium well filet (butterflied) and two chateaubriands. It’s funny how shortly after, the food came out. We were missing several sides, and the baked potato arrived loaded instead of the toppings on the side. It took several minutes for the sides dishes to be corrected. The manager came to our table and asked how was our experience. We explained what had happened so far. She kept repeating herself “what do I need to do to make this better.” It was a little uncomfortable, and we got the feeling like she has been answering service issues all night. The manager took a drink off our bill and gave us a 10% discount. We have been coming to Morton’s for several years on Christmas night and never had an issue splitting the check two mays except for tonight. His offer was to tell him how much to charge on the two cards. So we are sitting at Morton’s, using the calculator on our phones to breakout the check. Never had to do this in years past. Food was great, location is perfect, but the service level does not justify the prices on the menu. A tell-tale sign for me on how well managed and business is, are the condition of the bathroom. The men’s restroom and the garbage can overflowing on to the flooor.

    This is my second time there for a holiday and I don’t think the restaurant seems to be able to handle what they bring in as far as RSVP. The food is really good it’s a Shame but I am not sure I would go back after 2 holidays and really bad service. The management may have taken some off bill but the excuse is it’s really busy it’s a holiday. My answer is I worked in restaurant industry for a very long time. There is no excuse to not do your job and explain things from a server aspect, I was a server! You need to know your menu ! This food is fairly expensive to not have a good experience with service. We should not have to ask for more water, for special menus for the holiday. We never got asked how our food was. In fact one dish came out very wrong and they said it was prepared right. They took it back after one person was getting sick from sauce and then just brought new piece dish out and no manager came over to even address it. We were never offered coffee desert. It was pretty bad it’s unfortunate

    The ambiance is a perfect classic steakhouse experience. Cocktail recipes were delicious. We enjoyed an appetizer of bacon wrapped scallops and the chateaubriand special menu served during the holidays. I do wish the server had been more attentive. I indicated gluten free requirement when making the reservation and was given a gluten free menu upon arrival. However, when I asked multiple questions about the special, the server just told me to cross reference the special menu with items on the restaurant GF menu. He did not help me with the menu. Next I asked him to please verify gluten free options with the kitchen, and finally placed an order based on his assurances this was handled. We discussed the importance of a GF meal specifically at least three times. Of course, the steak arrived perfectly cooked and covered with a sauce I could not eat. He just re-plated it - brining back the same steak and shallots. Had I not caught that detail, I would have been sick after eating this meal. He also served a veggie side (again after multiple attempts to clarify the order) that is not gluten free. Our entire meal had to be taken from the table and reserved. This hassle could have been avoided entirely. I would like to thank the hostess who realized there was a concern and immediately took over and took ownership into quickly bringing us fresh plates of food that would not make me sick. She was excellent.

    Everything good except no valet. My husband had to drive to Fountain Sq garage after dropping me off - I had recent surgery and was on a walker.

    The restaurant was overbooked and under staffed. We were seated 45 mins late for our reservation. We sat for an hour before we had anything more than water and bread. The server tried his best but everything was incredibly slow. Food was mediocre at best.
