Montana's BBQ & BAR is a Canadian comfort food restaurant and sports bar that is famous for barbecue cuisine. The steak was cooked right. However was cold. Our waitress never came and asked if we needed anything until we we're just about done. She offered to get us a new stk. We had waited for a hour and a half for our food so we just said no.

Usually we have a great dinner there but our anniversary was ruined this time. Appy was cold. My steak was cooked wrong then they took my steak back after I cut into it and re cooked it and it came back REALLY dry. I was going to send it back l again. But my husband had already finished his meal and I had finished all my sides, so I ate 1/2 of it. Im just so sad. It was our 20 year anniversary 😭

We booked early so we could get decent table people had to literally climb over the chair to fit into thier booth, and table was so close that my chair was getting bopped. We went especially for lobster which was none the shrimp was so small and overcooked. The steak wasn't cooked but we ate it cause we were hungry and everywhere else was booked. It was supposed to be a happy occasion but wasn't more fun than eating at McDonald's at 3 times the price. Very unsatisfied

I know that most people go to Montana’s they know exactly what it is. Loud with mediocre food. But the french fries were inedible. You would think something basic would be good. We don’t go out that often so thought we would try something that looked like it’s quite popular. But I can do way better and cheaper at home. I have to say that the waitress was amazing. Can’t fault her. But five different dishes were ordered and everyone kind of said the same thing. Not that great and barely anyone touches their fries. I think if you like barbecue, but you don’t cook, you would like it. But if you do any resemblance of cooking, you would be able to do better than this.

I was surprised at despite how packed it was it wasn’t too loud. Must have good acoustics as so many restaurants are ultra noisy but it wasn’t. Server was super friendly, helpful and food was great. Good laid back environment and good prices. Haven’t been in many years and I actually will make it a regular restaurant to take out 6 and 9yr old boys too.

We haven’t been in a long time. All the food was excellent. Half rack ribs with 4 crispy wings with a side salad was excellent. The steak and fries were good with a good amount of fries. Two ordered the crispy chicken breast dinner. They loved it. Mashed potatoes with a large crispy chicken breast and a great amount of beans. We also had a large rack of ribs with crispy wings and Caesar salad. Everything we had was excellent. Service was great. One big problem was the washroom was disgusting. Water all over the floor, that’s what I was hoping it was. Didn’t even want to sit down, they need to get it together with the washrooms.

The orders were not what we ordered and had to be sent back. The brisket burger that was served was so bad it had to be sent back. When we finally got the re-done brisket burger order it was much better. Still, there should have been some kind of compensation for the order mix-up and the inedible brisket burger. So overall disappointed in the experience

Very busy Wednesday night. But our server was fantastic! She made sure our table had drinks and all you can eat ribs kept coming. Ribs were very yummy. I always get the big beef rib! Always delish!!!

I booked a recommended time from Montana's but the power failure in the area meant that we arrived to a pitch black restaurant. This wasn't Montana's fault but open table should have checked to make sure the place was open before confirming our reservations.
