Great customer service! Our beverages were spilled and it made the glasses sticky. New drinks were made at no cost. This restaurant cares about your experience. Everyone was very friendly and ready to help!

Had always been one of my favorites but last Friday was a major disappointment. Requested dining room more than a week in advance and my party was seated in annex. Steaks were below average quality, most of the specials already sold out, wine was wrong year but still priced it as the 2019. When making that level of investment in a special dinner I expected much more out of ML Tavern.

It was very crowded at 6pm on a Friday. Had a lovely spot near the fireplace on a very cold night. Service was excellent… very attentive given the busy night. Food was outstanding. Valet was a must in a busy parking lot.

First off Gia was an incredible server. Best dirty martini in the city! Chicken Milanese was prepared with the exact amount of lemon to make it amazing. Of course all steaks were cooked to the perfect temperature.

The Chilean sea bass was wonderful. My husband had a strip steak and it Was cooked perfect. The grilled corn was a great side dish.

Let’s start with the desert! Unbelievable home made apple pie in dare you to try to save room for this special desert. Parker House dinner rolls were served warm and sweet with soft butter coated delicately in olive oil and some flavorful but not overpowering spice. I had the Surf and Turf for my main . Perfectly done and presented with a generous crab / lobster cake that was paired perfectly ML is nicely appointed and very comfortable almost clubby tavern style setting. Make the trip to ML for a truly relaxed and unique experience. Almost forgot the soup !!!!

We celebrated my daughter‘s birthday that evening. Everything was fantastic. We did have to send a steak back to get cooked more and my mom‘s fish because it was too salty, but they returned with newly cooked meals that were perfect. They gave us extra desserts for the inconvenience and they were delicious! This is the usual spot for us to go for a celebration!

A perfect way to celebrate a 97th birthday! Let’s begin with the menu, presented to us when we were seated. It was printed with an elegant welcoming greeting: “Happy Birthday, Lorry!” Rose, our server, guided us through the menu options. For starters, the fresh oysters were bright and perfectly presented, and the Caesar salads crisp with perfectly balanced citrus salt and richness. We ordered the Parker rolls and then another order. They are that good! For our entrees, the seared salmon was perfectly seasoned and fresh, the lobster tail generous and tender, and the tuna teriyaki seared and very fresh. The soba noodles were the perfect complement. As it was a birthday, a complementary carrot cake arrived with a candle, and we supplemented it with additional desserts from the menu: a fabulous cheesecake and caramel bread pudding. We were the last to leave and never felt rushed. The staff, in succession, wished us a wonderful evening. Well, the staff ensured us that it was a wonderful evening. With gratitude to all.
