Been a regular customer here but was disappointed with my service this time. Food took over an hour to come and then it was not what I ordered. Service left a bad taste in my mouth.

I loved the food. This was my first time trying sushi. It’s something I have never been interested in trying., but I was there about two summers ago and the menu was great so when I came back to the theatre to see The Lion King, I decided to try the restaurant again and try sushi this time. It was awesome very flavourful very authentic..

Minami has always been a safe choice when you visit DT Toronto for some Japanese food. The price is not at the high end and you get good quality for the value.

Fantastic higher end Japanese cuisine in great location in the entertainment district. Highly recommend the Sablefish and chicken entrees Vegetable dishes of broccolini and mushrooms cannot be missed.

I really wanted this to be a 5 star experience. The food was unbelievable, the atmosphere is beautiful and classy. Sadly, our waitress was horrible. She didn't smile once even though we tried to engage her and be friendly. It was a birthday dinner and when we asked about how to split the bill it seemed to really stress her out. She cane back to out table before the end of the meal to discuss it and then had us pay before our dessert arrived. It felt lime She was trying to rush us out the door. I will go back but if I see she's working I'll ask to sit in a different section of the restaurant.

Overall mediocre sushi, the Minami roll is truly bad and should be avoided at all cost, the highlight was the soft shell karaage and good cocktails. Server was great

host was great, server was almost absent and was super slow taking our order then ordered with a different server and order came out crazy fast. The location is great especially for a pre or post theatre option. we were there for happy hour which was amazing and delicious.
