MIDA is an inspired neighborhood Italian restaurant by award winning Chef, Douglass Williams. Our menu focuses on many regions of traditional Italian food and culture, using fresh, seasonal ingredients. We are all about supremely delicious food and warm hospitality.

Dinner is served Monday - Sundays from 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Lunch is served Monday - Friday from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 AM -4:00 PM.

Reservations for indoor dining can be made in advance online. Patio reservations are now available for booking online or over the phone. Walk-ins are always welcome. Parties larger than six should call the restaurant directly to book a table.

MIDA is spreading the love this Valentine's Day with a special three-course menu. Not to mention, roses and dim lighting make us the coziest date spot there is. Friday, February 14th, guests can enjoy our chef's menu ($75) with the option to add wine pairings ($37) and succulent lobster scampi with caviar ($mkt). Delicious dishes like risotto alla zucca gialla, braised beef or the chocolate egg cream, make this the perfect romantic dinner date. If ordering the Chef's menu, we ask that the whole table participate. This menu is the only menu available for the evening. Please call us with any questions. Pasta is for lovers. xoxo, MIDA

MIDA is our favorite restaurant ever. Seriously, it’s one of those places you order everything on the menu because you can’t pick one thing, and everything comes out better than the last.

It was incredible! The pesto burrata was one of the best things I’ve ever had. The cocktails are so good, and they make their own pasta. The pizza looked great too and I will have to try that next time. Everyone was friendly and nice, from the host to the server to the manager. Will definitely be coming back!

Mida is consistently a lovely place to have a special meal. The lighting is perfect, the seating is comfortable. The hostess immediately addresses you and makes sure you are either getting seated or lets you know where to wait for a minute. The wait staff is professional and attentive. The food is our favorite--we love the bolognaise and the mushroom pappardelle. The Caesar salad is the best around. Interesting wine list for wines by the glass, too, which we appreciate. MIDA in Newton is our favorite spot for a night out together.

Love the easy access location with plenty of parking. Great staff that allowed my group of lady friends to catch up for 3 hrs without kicking us out!

Crispy chicken very good; Wine selection fine though too expensive. Waitress we had was excellent. Not desperately keen on the somewhat unkempt male servers; one baring tattoo arms--we don't need to see that. A proper sleeved shirt is required. Otherwise, a nice place with very decent decorations. Easy parking.

We’ve rung in the last few New Years at MIDA, either in East Boston or Newton. The service and food we received was phenomenal and we will keep up this tradition. Thank you, Chef Williams and your team!

We enjoyed New Years Eve here with another couple. it was a bit loud at the beginning due to a party with lots of kids (who does this on NYE?), but after that large table left, we could hear ourselves and enjoyed a leisurely meal, and great food. great to have parking available as well! Place was packed, and there seem to be a lot of regulars, which speaks well for the place. It was our 3rd time. We will be back.
