Mia's Italian Kitchen, located at the riverside end of King Street in Old Town Alexandria, is rooted in family. Our menu is filled with homestyle traditional Italian recipes sourced from owner Dave Nicholas' Sicilian grandmother. An elegant wine list accompanies beer and craft cocktails on the beverage menu. Dine downstairs and watch the signature Sicilian-style rectangular pizzas cook in the 800-degree brick oven, or upstairs to view the energetic open kitchen. This was our second visit to Mia’s for the amazing Sunday brunch. My husband, adult daughter and I enjoyed the delicious fresh food and the excellent wait service even more today than the first time. This is a perfect restaurant if one family member loves pasta and seafood and another is a vegetarian. I enjoyed it all! And you will, too! Very good value also,

Not thrilled this round. Been to Mia’s many times for dinner, brunch and after hours. This visit was lackluster with luke warm dishes and our drinks didn’t come until well after food service. We had to remind the service team that we’d placed orders for drinks and still didn’t get them until after food arrived.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Mia’s! The service was prompt and everything arrived in a timely manner. The staff demonstrated exceptional attention to detail and were considerate throughout our visit. When one of our entrees was lacking in pasta, they promptly addressed the issue by providing additional pasta on the side to complement the protein. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and the interior ambience was truly lovely. Shoutout to our lovely waitress, Brittney! She was awesome!!

This was our first experience at Mia's. The food, service and atmosphere were all great! The $49 Christmas dinner option was excellent. I had the shrimp bruschetta, lobster ravioli and cranberry cheesecake. All were very tasty. My plates were wiped clean :) Brittney, our server, was wonderful and attentive. We will be back again for sure.

The food was excellent, flavorful and nice portions. The service was initially slow (took a while for the server to take our drink orders and then deliver them) but did get better. Otherwise it would have been a 5 star meal

Great Christmas Special Lobster Ravioli and Mulled Wine. We also ordered for a Fettuccine Alfredo (Shrimp) which wasn’t on the menu but they could make it, which was appreciable. All in all we had a great christmas eve dinner.

Great place! The atmosphere and server were great. Almost all the food was perfect. The Chicken Saltimboca should have been tenderized and thinner. It was tough and dry.

Leslie was a great server and everyone in our party, from children through grandparents, were very happy with their food, including the kids pizza custom made to her preferences. We will definitely be back.
