Meteora's gastronomy is a 1-star Michelin contemporary and creative showcase of exceptional California ingredients. Chef Jordan Kahn (Vespertine, Destroyer) and the team work exclusively with aligned farmers, foragers, fishermen, and ranchers to bring guests the ultimate dining experience.

Fire cooking, innovation, and seasonality blend for an elegant tasting menu or indulgent small plates in the bar. The holistic approach extends to every facet of the restaurant including beverage, hospitality, and design.

Groups of 6-12 are welcome to book one of our private dining areas for a food and beverage minimum. See individual experiences for applicable pricing for our selenite Chef's Table and Private Dining Room. Service fees and taxes not included.

We go to many Michelin Star restaurants and enjoy the tasting menus. We decided Meteora was next after having experienced Vespertine, both restaurants by Chef Jordan Kahn. The culinary experience begins the moment you walk through the elegantly designed entrance. Once inside, you are enveloped in an ambiance of sophistication and warmth by decor of harmonious blend of modern aesthetics and subtle nods to nature. There were plenty of soft lighting and organic materials to make you feel like one with nature. The service by our waiter Daniel and staff was impeccable. They guided us through an exquisite journey of flavors. The culinary creations at Meteora are nothing short of art. Each dish is a testament to the chef’s dedication to innovation and quality, showcasing locally sourced ingredients that are transformed into masterpieces. The tasting menu is a must-try, offering a series of meticulously crafted courses that take your palate on a delightful adventure. We asked for something more than the 4-course tasting menu and the staff came back with the 7-course menu. Our party of 6 embarked on the latter journey. As the meal progressed, it became clear that Meteora is not just about food; it's about storytelling. Seated in the private dining room called “The Nest”, our group enjoyed the culinary experience and said this is up there with a few of our favorite Michelin star restaurants.

I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, and it turned out to be a huge mistake. A day that was supposed to be special became the worst birthday of my life, all because of this place. Yes, the presentation of the dishes is visually appealing, but that’s where the positives end. The taste of the food was utterly disappointing, as if the chef had left their passion outside the kitchen. As a birthday gesture from the restaurant, all I received was a card—no warmth, no attention, nothing to justify the occasion. And all of this for an unjustifiably high price. The value for money here is nonexistent. If you’re dreaming of a joyful and memorable day, stay far away from this restaurant. I absolutely do not recommend it.

Amazing evening with a perfect service, extraordinary food and a master of wine who managed to let us discover wines from California and bringing us back to Europe for others delicious ones. Don’t hesitate to ask for their bread, one in a kind and to ask for their butter on which you can add their salt from Philippines. An incredible dish in itself. We will definitely come back ! Thanks for the experience, the food and the wine!

Amazing décor and build out. Loved everything about the meal from the stone ware to the food. Definitely a must do for a special occasion. Food was incredibly flavorful and innovative. Will do again.

A very unique experience! My husband and I celebrated our ten year anniversary here and it felt like we were visiting another world all-together. The ambiance with its ethereal music and beautiful art yarn tapestry draping from the ceilings surrounded by plants and vines, transported us from our normal lives. Our seven-course-meal was wonderful and appreciated tastes and textures we've never had before. We walked away mesmerized and our bellies full!

The restaurant is beautiful. They serve a Tasting menu on a Friday night. The food was good. But they add a 4% "Healthy LA" before tax and gratuity. We found out later that it is not a state required fee. Meteora is charging their customers this 4% to help pay for their full time staff health benefit. And customers could ask for the charge to be removed. So why don't they have their servers bring that to their customers attention when they present the bills? Such a scam. Make sure you check your bills and decide if you want to help pay for their full time staff health benefits which is the restaurant responsibility not the customers.
