Not what we expected. When I ordered eggs Benedict, I was so surprised with the amount of chopped beef with it. It simply overwhelmed the eggs and toast underneath. French fries and Bloody Mary were the best part.

Second time at Medium Rare for my wife’s birthday. Remembered to bring my own jalepenos to have with my steak as the restaurant does not offer anything “extra”. Steak portions generous. Desserts huge!! Order one and share! Staff brought a Roman candle on a dessert to help celebrate the birthday occasion. Value consistent with experience. No valet. Have to park in garage around the corner which is shared with other restaurants and is very full on a busy Sat night so give your self plenty of time.

Great idea with simple menu! The steak, potatoes, bread, etc. are excellent! 😁. James did a great job of taking care of us, and keeping our mimosas full! We went for Brunch and will definitely go back again! I would highly recommend this restaurant 👏🏻👏🏻

The beef was perfectly seasoned and cooked to the perfect temperature! (I like medium-rare).
The bread and butter was fantastic, and the salad was dressed nice, and very tasty!

Its a place I would recommend to go to for everyone. If you really like it go again. Its a limited menu and fun staff and great drinks..

This place is treasure for great food and service when you are in the mood for not so heavy/dreary steak dinner. Atmosphere is happy and light. Wait staff cheerful and fun. All the food is super tasty and well prepared.
Includes rustic bread with crunchy crust, soft interior and Irish butter. Perfect. (And I am hard to please on bread!) Salad is field greens, cherry tomatoes and just the right amount of great tasting dressing. I was concerned about the Coulotte steak being fatty or tough since I have not had one before and neither was the case. It was tender, delicious and no visible fat, 100% edible. Also, cooked to medium rare as ordered. French fries were crispy, salted just right and a bit of skin on some. It was a perfect plate dinner.
After finishing bread, salad, and steak frites, we were full and looking at desert choices. Before we could order desert, they brought a second helping of steak frites as big as the first plate!! This was a total surprise. What fun! but we asked for go-boxes for the second plate and ordered desert. For desert, we split and apple pie a la mode. The pie was great tasting, but crust was a bit soft and should have been crisper.
Overall, I would rate Medium Rare very high for great casual food and tops for service, fun and value.

I recently visited Medium Rare and had a very disappointing experience. The hostess was extremely unprofessional and seemed like she needed additional training. My reservation was at 2:30 PM, but I wasn’t seated until after 3:10 PM. During this time, multiple people who came in after me were seated before me, despite there being open tables. The issue? The tables weren’t cleaned in a timely manner.
I asked to speak to the manager twice, but when he finally came over, he was incredibly rude. This was shocking, as I had hoped they would provide some resolution or at least a better attitude.
On a positive note, my server was kind and made an effort to salvage the experience despite the poor service from the rest of the staff. The food was just okay—nothing special, though I did enjoy the gravy.
Another issue was that although I arrived before brunch hours ended, by 3:00 PM, the staff informed everyone they were no longer serving brunch because they ran out of food. This was incredibly disappointing and showed how unprepared the restaurant was.
Overall, I’m unsure if I’d return. The poor service and lack of organization overshadowed the decent food. Medium Rare needs to address its staffing and preparation issues to improve its customer experience.
