The restaurant is inviting and well appointed -the server approached and indicated that we would need to order quickly as the kitchen was closing - we had a 9:45 reservation and arrived on time - so we felt quite disrespected to be told this - if the kitchen is so intent on closing at 10:00 - then you should not take a 9:45 reservation

Was taken care of immediately by a very nice young lady (Adrianna), food was fine, value questionable.......however, our server (Cassie) was terrific and made the experience worth the visit!

Wonderful food and wonderful service. We had a reservation right when they opened and arrived a few minutes early but it was freezing and they welcomed us right in. My son had the salmon and said it was awesome (he’s very picky). Highlight had to be the baked Alaska for dessert!

It was our waiter, Michael’s first night and he was very attentive to us. It was one of our guest’s first visit and she was blown away! Everyone on staff was warm and welcoming.

Food was served incorrectly; fish was a very small portion for a high price. We are used to paying well for dining, but this was exorbitant.

Max Downtown is usually so great. But tonight the restaurant was between 60 and 65 degrees. The staff explained that the building managers did not turn on the heat. But to me, it represented very poor customer service. I thought they should have given us a discount. No such luck. Service was not particularly fast or accommodating and one plate had to be sent back because it was cold. Not that fun to be charged 40 to 60 per plate to eat with our coats on.

After checking in at the front, we had to wait a while for seating. We noticed other tables getting their meal before us even we seated and ordered earlier. It took one and a half hours to get our dinner. We understood it was busy night, but we were a little disappointed. As we have been the restaurant a few times in the past for our celebrations ( anniversary and birthdays and more), we can compare how our experience was. It was actually our son's birthday! I am sorry for letting you know that our experience wasn't the best as expected.
