We visited NYE for a 615 reservation. Service and the meals were amazing! I had the chicken. It was delicious! Someone else in our party had the steak (I stole a taste). OMG! It was perfectly cooked. You didn't need any sauce or seasonings on it, it was delicious as it was. Drinks were great as well. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing! Alejandro took great care of my girlfriend and I! Chystal and Chef Eddie made everything amazing from the food, to the wine experience and all their preferences! Definitely coming back soon!

We went to Matthew’s for our wedding anniversary celebration. The food was excellent, service was good, nice ambiance too. We had a table for 2 that was large, and the restaurant was very busy, so it was hard to talk. Next time we will request a booth. Highly recommend the lobster bisque and filet mignon. Delicious! Owner was present and she was very attentive and personable. We will be back!

Beautiful! The food was very good! However, the service left something to be desired! I do not recommend it for children! There is no Kids menu and they do not care about children, they did not offer anything for the children, no pasta, nothing!!

The new owners offer a a whole new experience with fresh ingredients and excellent food/wine pairings. This is our new go to restaurant in downtown Winter Garden.

Greeted and quickly shown to our table. Servers were quick and efficient. Drinks were always kept full and food arrived in a timely manner. Steaks were all cooked to desired preferences. We were able to have a conversation and not struggle to hear each other as the ambience was just right.

We have lived in this area for 5 years and always have heard great things about Matthews, but had never tried it. We decided this would be our time to do so! I reached out to the restaurant online to ask about a corkage fee; while Matthews has an amazing wine list - all carefully curated by one of the owners, Eddie - we had a bottle from Italy that we wanted to enjoy with our meal that night. There is a corkage fee so remember that if you want to bring your own. But they were lovely and not salty about us bringing our own wine. We ordered the beet and burrata salad to start and it was wonderful! My husband does not even like beets (he only wanted the burrata) but he said he is now a beet fan after this salad :) We also ordered the ribeye to share and it was plenty for the 2 of us along with the risotto. Our server Mack was very attentive and knowledgeable and both the owners stopped by our table to welcome us and check in. Everyone was so hospitable and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Matthews! We will definitely make it back soon for what I'm sure will be another great experience. It's server Devin was great, attentive and not over bearing. Offered suggestions since it was our first time and made the experience with the costs.

For a steakhouse, medium rare comes out rare. Medium comes out medium rare and is returned, the "recook" was burnt on exterior. Wife left it uneaten on plate. No comments from staff. The wine list is full of unrecognizable wines, offered tasting by staff but that's needed and they are average at a premium charge. Scallops good. Baked potatoe good but ask for salt because it's not on table. No chives. Old fashion was made well.
